.120 with RISP. Absolutely unacceptable, stop trying to hit f'ing home runs.

    .214, .207 and .200

Why I prefer Springer hitting leadoff???

Those 3 numbers are his average with RISP in 2014, 2015 and now 2016.

I prefer to see Springer hitting with men on first on no one on base, than RISP.

Posters like you like to impose your frame of thinking onto others. I have the right to be upset looking at my hometown teams playing ****ty ball and voice that displeasure on the boards. As far as my expectations, yes like I expressed before my expectation were elevated because I brought into the hype like a lot of the fan base did. I'm not going to stop voicing my frustrations when I see them. That's what message boards are for so if you don't like it feel free to put me on the ignore. Stop trying to police the boards and how fans should express themselves on the board. Leave that up to the moderators.

They know how to hit with 2 strikes, with men on base and less than two outs.... We don't.

    Am I policing the boards?

Of course you have a right to be angry and voice frustration on a message board... just like others have a right to gauge just how high somebody's expectations really were, since they're voicing such frustration.

If your expectations were based solely on magazine and media hype, I'm in no way shocked or surprised that this start would have immediately turned you off.

Other side of the coin is that posters like you quit on the team at first sight of trouble

You have no faith, and you can't handle any adversity at all

I truly feel sorry for the wives you have quit on

    Pretty gutsy performance from Fister

Watching the team run itself into so many outs and keeping us in it

    Yeah, it is.

When I said he would either get rocked or be lights out... I was totally expecting the former. Meanwhile, Hamels has been pitching like dog ****... and has the Astros to thank for those 0 runs scored.

5 IP 2 ER. Fister has pitched well enough (not great, as he had to work out of trouble to keep it at 2) today as a 4th or 5th starter on this team. Hopeful for another inning. But would be fine with more efforts like this out of him if he can go 6.

your comment is a personal one, i will not get into that.

If you are a MEAN person, i am not that person.

I will talk baseball, i will not offend other forum members.

    That is the difference between you and me;

    You are a mean person
