Did he shape the country in a good or bad way...? Lol...

Just the same, that doesn't mean he's deserving of being honored on currency. The dude help engineer genocide of one group of people to make slave land for another group of people and a couple of his economic decisions is what lead to the panic of 1837... And his spoils system seemed to be very shady. I don't expect people to have a perfect history but Jackson has a lot of dirt on his record and there are more honorable people he can be replaced with... And if it was up to him, there probably wouldn't be paper money to put his face on anyway.

On a serious note; America does seem to have an unusually large boner for its statesmen.

Every other country honors a wide variety of their most notable citizens on their currency. Artists, scientists, engineers, social leaders, etc.

    About time for some turnover.

Kinda wish it was Barbara Jordan.

Anything to get Jackson off of it is OK with me.

That looks better than the other lousy image. Really, America, is this the best we can do?

This speaks more to the "lower rung" that American women, Black or White, have been placed on since the birth of the nation. They have yet to reach equality in numerous areas. Hell, I'd rather they picked Josephine Baker. Wearing something, of course.

What a great idea. Sign me up!

    Stupid calling something stupid.

Now that's ironic, right Buck & HR dept?

And for the record, I hated that song more than anyone.

    Love Barbara Jordan. Good idea.

Her current replacement, however, (Sheila Jackson Lee) is a complete moron.

Nothing wrong with her picture either. Unfortunately there wasn't many DSLR cameras or much time for glamour shots on the Underground Railroad.
