The only coach remaining that could have made Harden play some D.

    Welp.

And apparently JVG doesn't want to come here.
It really is looking like another year of JB.

    Kill me.

I expect a drastic change in Giannis Antenamutombompolondomukambakounmpo's game.

Scottie Quitten for coach? This is as bad as Germany bombing Pearl Harbor.

No coach can make Harden play D. Only Harden can make Harden play D.

It will be interesting to see how Thibs does with Minnesota. I think a young team is a good fit for Thibs. But he wore out his welcome in Chicago, so who knows.

Thibs is a good guy to have with a young team. He'll probably wear out his welcome over time, but he can probably instill some nice old school values in Wiggins and KAT. Minnesota is gonna be scary in a few years.

So... I guess JB is gonna coach us again?

If JB is here for another year, I may have to boycott the rockets

It would've required firing Morey(or demoting him which would've likely led to him resigning), so it was probably never gonna happen. I think the best course of action is to go after an assistant coach or someone from the college ranks. I'm not sold on any name coach still out there(aside from Van Gundy who reportedly doesn't wanna work for Les again).

one rockets info in that espn article:

"Sources say that the Rockets are hopeful Brooks will wait until Houston' s season is over before taking a new job, and the Wizards are expected to press Brooks to fill their vacancy while the Rockets remain alive in a first-round series against the 73-win Golden State Warriors."

Please God, not Scottie Brooks. He's like a slightly wealthier man's McHale.

The only way he would have ever coached Houston was if Morey was gonna be let go. Didn't expect him to be here.
