Saw this yesterday and I wondered if they just mistakenly swapped the Texans and Lions colors...unless the Lions are going with black.
If they do I'm getting a jersey!! Grew up with that blue, loved that blue, bled that blue, died with that blue. =(
They'll probably look more like the Texan's current jersey. This clipart mockup might be more accurate when they come out but we'll see:
I agree that those look incredible, but its hard to have a "color rush" uni featuring a color wholly thats absent from the team's scheme.
Hmm, not really. The teams that did it last year basically had different shades of colors they have. Texans have blue, this will be just a different shade of blue. Hope this is real because I'd love to get a jersey like that.
What is color rush, why is there so much yellow and I'm worried the league mixed us up with the Titans again since I don't see them on that board.
There is a second page that is supposed to have the Titans and Redskins colors on there. I haven't seen it myself so can't confirm that
I would be a strong proponent of moving back to the Oilers name and color scheme. We lost so much history when we started fresh with the Texans name. With Bud Adams now food for worms, now is the chance.
The current uniforms are so bland and generic. They're not bad but they're also not good either. Oilers unis were original and unique.
His in-law offspring still owns the team... its not happening. As macho and high risk of a gladiator sport football is... here everybody is talking about fashion and colors...
Love the color. Can't picture it looking good with a Steel Blue helmet though. Would be awesome if they moved to a primary white helmet for those unis.
