And I can't believe people think free agents don't care about the culture of a team, or that they have a 1-week memory.

We look like the most unfun NBA team in the history of the league right now. Everyone's yelling at everybody else, on camera and who knows what happens off camera, and the end product stanks to high heaven.

    "Where do I sign!"

i tend to think free agents don't care NEARLY AS MUCH about these things that fans care about. or that message boards care about. my impression of players is that they just aren't that concerned with the things we people who obsess over our own team are concerned with.

i think a new coach is huge. get a name players respect and no one's going to think that this trainwreck will happen again or that they aren't good enough to change it themselves.

now if dwight opted in, then obviously that changes things because then they could worry about culture and chemistry.

This does not effect us. Morey can get anybody. He's the best GM in the NBA.

The series shows the manager and owner are grossly incompetent. Why would any talented player trust their future in these hands ? Houston may be an option, but only as a last resort.

Harden will cost us free agents with his ISO and all-day dribbling plays.

Don't listen to the media's bs friends play with friends. If Durant wants to play with Harden the **** will happen because they want it to happen.

Clutchfans told us the playoffs, no matter what, wil equate in us landing both KD35 and Horford. Every pick outside of top 10 is useless to a team trying to contend now.

This part is huge and people need to think like this.

Players like Durant think whatever team they go to will be contenders you just have to convince him that they will be a championship team.

I voted no because missing the playoffs wouldn't have helped us anymore. As it is, we were screwed no matter what we did.

Its mostly just the remainder of the Morey cult on here. Any rational person would think other wise.

Dude, how would Dwight know that no one wants him until he first opt-out of his contract? You realize a player under contract can't talk to another team, right? You think he is going to opt-out, look for a team then opt back in? Put the thinking cap on before ya post kiddo.

It's a disgrace that teammates are yelling at one another on the floor on national TV and JBB is pretending everything is ok. That alone should get him fired he clearly does not control the team.

But that's the thing, once he is fired - a free agent being able to have say in a coach - or getting a JVG, Thibs, Brooks (if you want Durant) - will make this place very attractive.

    People forget very quickly

I think TNT hurt this brand more than anything.

Players don't want to go to bad situations, but situations change fast.

Getting a new coach will help....in about a year. I think even dumping JB for a competent replacement won't change the fact that there's still too many issues surrounding this organization right now for any big name free agent to consider signing here. Get a new coach, replace most of the roster, and have a respectable 2016-17 season(develop the young guys, better defense, more efficient offense) and then maybe next offseason and beyond, players will see H-Town as an appealing destination.

And I disagree BTW with the notion that free agents don't care about this stuff. Look at how much the Lakers have struggled to lure free agents since Dwight left. Despite having a crapload of capspace, high draft picks, and being in LA, no one seems to want to go there.
