While I don't disagree with you on this point, do you really have to pat yourself on the back every single time you get something right?

I bet they rest Thompson, Iggy and Green next game to make our national embarrassment complete.

But what good are numbers without the players? If you don't have guys who can knock down 3-pointers, then who gives a crap about analytics that say taking 3's is better than taking midrange 2's? Morey crunches all of these numbers and then doesn't bother to get the right personnel. Brewer can't shoot 3's(or any jumper for that matter). Ariza is streaky. Bev is streaky. Smith is not a good percentage 3-point shooter. Beasley can't shoot 3's. Jones is streaky. D-Mo is streaky. Terry at his age is streaky. Hell, even Harden isn't a great percentage 3-point shooter(especially this season).

It's really not that complicated. If your offensive gameplan revolves around shooting the most 3's of any team in the league not named the Warriors, get some g-ddamn 3-point shooting specialists on the roster! If you can't find any, then implement a different offense that compliments your roster.

Dmo actually played pretty well . Especially in the 3rd . He defended green well when he was allowed just to stay on him . He'll adjust . He only got 15 minutes . He was aggressive , a lot of his looks were good looks . Once he gets used to playoff contact he'll make those . Also 3-10 doesn't begin to describe how necessary he is to our ball movement on offense .

The ball move great and the team compete, he was the starter with the best +- and play vs GS starters.

At least the young guys are getting playoff experience. DMo 15min, Capela 6, KJ 1, Harrell DNPCD. They couldve got that at home, with the organization keeping their pick to help fill out this roster(draft or trade) once some of the bums exit.

You and apparently some national sensationalist commentators are the only ones stupid enough to think we base our entire system on analytics . The misuse of that terminology is staggering .

Ladies and Gentlemen...your 2016 Houston Rockets!

    #PURSUIT

    1. An Owner who overreacts and has a bad reputation as a coach killer thanks to the handling of Mchale, Adelman, and JVG.

    2. A GM who is seen as the braniac that is too smart for his own good pushing a flawed system that doesn't work. Meanwhile, despised by many NBA GM's because of much unwarranted praise he has received in the past.

    3. A Head Coach who obviously is not ready for the position. When he is fired, he will become the next martyr adding to the problem outlined in #1 above.

    4. A Superstar that doesn't put in the effort on the defensive side of the ball AND who doesn't have the fire of a Kobe/Lebron/Westbrook/Curry.

    5. A 2nd Superstar(?) who has always been thought of as soft, childish, and unwilling to put in the work to improve his post game and free throw shooting who is also known as a coach killer who over rates his own offensive skills.

    6. Supporting cast that, for the most part, consists of misfits, knuckleheads and bad fits for the team's flawed offensive philosophy.

    7. Absolutely zero chemistry. Players that don't get along even on the court. Lack of effort on defense by best player leading to lack of effort or even emphasis by the coaching staff on half the game.

    8. .....and on and on and on....

I can't even count how many times D12 couldn't get a F****** rebound over anyone guys even smaller then him. Capela should have been in the game!! He barely played if anything in the second Half. D12 is trash!!!

I hope the team gets the calls like the Warriors got at their court but I am sure the game will be close enough for them to have a chance to pull off the W.

GS has figured out the Rockets - the know exactly what they need to do to neutralize Harden and take advantage of their inability (or unwillingness) to play smart defensive basketball. Blaming the refs is merely whining the traditional whine of losing teams.
