He was a decent garbage man, but we need someone that can stretch the floor and move the ball more than we need a trash guy.

DMo is a better player than Jones, particularly on defense - and he fits better.

Jones can be an effective NBA player but he needs to go somewhere that his skillsets fit a bit better, honestly we didn't do him any favors with our crappy coaching either, he would probably flourish in somewhere like Boston.

I'd say Jones' fatal flaw was his defense. Seemed to do OK on offense. I kinda think his garbageman abilities helped more than DMo's floor stretching. DMo hasn't even been shooting that well. As terrible as Jones' shot was, people still ran out to cover him, so he could do his infamous ball fake. Who knows. Can't really say any PF of ours has been mindblowing. Josh Smith is real good when his three is falling (last year).

...I thought Chandler Parsons had a more infamous ball fake...

I'm sure you are dumb enough and consistent enough in your TJones hate that you actually knew that.

That wasn't the case at all. I liked him when we first got him, I wrongly assumed that he'd develop his game a bit. Maybe learn how to shoot or play competent defense. When I saw that wasn't going to happen it changed things.

Sure sure. ;) Bobby gives rookies about 1 season to show their mettle then declares them a bust or not.

He got benched for a washed up scrub. He has a right to be angry.

Well, I was right. Don't be upset just because you were wrong and you embarrassed yourself defending a scrub for years.

You've already established you care about BEING right. I've already established that a broken clock is right twice a day. Some folks just get lucky that their projections come true after a rash of injuries derails a young players career.

I've never thought TJones would ever be more than a Marcus Morris type of player so I have nothing to be embarrassed about.

That's what is so funny about folks like you. The DMo vs TJones debate ended up being which player can get over their respective injuries.

Yes, I do prefer to be right when I say things....maybe you should care more about saying things that are correct than you do. It seems you'll say just anything without much of a basis for that opinion. I'm against that.

If we're being real, the DMo vs Jones debate ended well over a year ago yet some people who didn't care that their opinion was laughably inaccurate kept talking up Jones anyway.

Let's have this be the last time we talk about it, Jones is on his way out of the league anyway.

LOL. Now that is the definition of the pot calling the kettle black. Like I just looked up the definition and your name is in there....

Yep, they both got derailed to injuries. Crazy how some people were making bold evaluations prior to injuries. Better to leave the evaluations to the folks who actually do it for living otherwise you are just throwing darts at board, hoping to get lucky.

They first three years you were completely wrong. This year your wish finally came true. So in all actuality you're still wrong. Because getting it right one out of four is considered a failing grade.

Get some help young fella. Get some help.

The love for DMo would make sense if he played like DGree (Draymond Green).
