That is no where close to what my point was.

Well certainly, he's not a faithful, married man who goes home/to the hotel room after a game. He is a modern pro athlete that cares about his brand. He isn't a natural born leader and has been described as aloof.

None of these things can't be overcome or doom Harden.

If it was that easy to get those stats then why haven't more players done it?

McHale wrote his own ticket out of this franchise.

He's actually one of the most gifted offensive players in the league as not many players have done/do what he does.

Melo for example has never sniffed the % of assists James Harden has despite being able to put the ball in the hoop well.

So.. yea... What else ya got?

Because some people care about winning more. Our old coach had a 56 point game where he got taken out for the last few minutes because he said he didn't care about the stats. Bird said he should've stayed in another minute to get 60, but the game was already over.

You act like Kevin Love putting up #'s on MN is not tainted by losing and, in harden's case especially, a complete disregard for one half of a two way game. Stats are a collection of numbers, winning is all that should matter. Are you convinced Harden puts winning on a pedestal above stats?

So you literally do exactly what I wrote (can't separate his offensive potential from his obvious basketball regression this past year due to stats he puts up) and then you say what else you got? LOL stat boy, white knuckle that coattail to another defensive lapse.

We do know Dwight has been doing the FA thing...if I'm in James' position, or really if im any Rocket that gives a damn, id be like F that guy (dwight)...he may be a nice guy, but I dont really want to play with him, and I definitely dont want to hear him pout about touches.

And the stats he's positing are cherry picked bull****, add another qualifying factor like blocks and he'll be the "only player ever". Koolaid slurpers .

All this guy does is run his mouth about the Rockets. (OK, OK, that's his job.:rolleyes:)

Houston hasn't been competitive all year long. They wasn't competitive game one. Golden State can still compete & beat them without Steph.

Seriously, did you see the game? They wasn't competitive. Dwight was on South Beach or Cancun.

Can I state the obvious right here? When they were at their best last year, Dwight wasn't in the lineup. Harden was playing at a MVP level. He missed a lot of games. When he came back, he couldn't mess up their rhythm. Those guys were playing so well that he had to be a rebounder & defender. That's what he should be. In order for this team to be great, he has to be that. He can't demand the ball. That's not his game.

Windhorst: His bags are packed. He knows he's signing elsewhere.

Q: Curry doesn't play, do they sweep?

    Windhorst: Never predict a sweep
TWack: If Curry doesn't play, Rockets win tonight
LaVine: Golden State [for the series]

So you can definitely state that James Harden cares more about his stats than winning?

Kevin Love was never the TWolves main offensive or defensive cog.

That would make a great ADIDAS commercial, but in the real world "winning" requires context.

Am I convinced? Sure. This team has had no viable offensive 2nd option in 2 years.

Well considering offense is half of basketball...

Can you use any sort of measurement to show this regression?

LOL. You obviously weren't around last season talking this silliness. A prime example of context matters.

Then why haven't many other players average what Harden has? The modern NBA stretches over decades so there has been time for many others to crack that list.

    Stop being jelly. Jelly eaters.

But he has a point and he's going to have connections to the team and FO.....hes not as biased as Chuck, from what I've seen.

Another Dwight sucks! narrative. Great hot taek t-wack!

He has no connections, unless Uncle Les is spilling the beans to him.

Once we cut out Kevin McHale, we'll be better! Oops.
Once we cut out cancers Ty Lawson & Marcus Thornton, we'll be better! Oops.
Once we cut out Corey Brewer, we'll be better!
Once we cut out Jason Terry, we'll be better!
Once we cut out John Blair Bickerstaff, we'll be better!
Once we cut out Dwight Howard, we'll be better!

Id say most ex players that were here awhile have connections, especially the big names...think.about how long Keith Jones has been here or.people from their staff...those are the guys who are always around and hear everything, at least from the players.

Shaq at the half : " Problem is Harden has no leadership skills."

So is this just Howard's go-to answer, now?

So what exactly is Harden being prideful about? Refusing to play defense? Ball hog? I mean no one else can score wtf do you want him to do?
