Haters denying that Hardens offensive game is the closest to big Os,jordans, lebrons and farthest from kobes or carmelos

But there are players who's iso games are actually a joy to watch. Kobe's iso game was amazing to watch. Obviously, so was Jordan's. Today, someone like Russell Westrbrook is far more exiting because when he attempts to finish at the rim, he really means it. He jumps as high as he can and tries contour his body around to make some amazing finishes. Obviously, that isn't Harden's game.

And yet for their careers here are their field goals percentages at the basket:

    Westbrook : .577
    Harden : .630

Looks like Westbrook should try just a little harder at contouring his body to finish.

This post is just full of contradictions and double standards

Iso is not good unless its by kobe

Iso is not good unless you jump real high

Harden is a selfish iso player

Harden does not jump as high as smaller skinnier westbrook bbut as atheletic as klay so we hate him

Plenty of strawmanning going on but okay...

This thread is about how visually appealing his game is.

Again numbers without any context. Westbrook is a far better finisher. If you applied some common sense you would realize why it's lower. Westrbrook doesn't flail as often around the rim and actually tries to finish a large majority of the time. Harden on more contested finishes instead of attempting to finish will flail arms and have the foul called which will not count as a missed attempt for him. Westrbrook on the other hand has a much lesser tendency to try to draw the whistle on heavily contested finishes and instead will try to use his athleticism and finishing ability so a missed attempt will actually count as a missed attempt.

You are going to be the only person here would argue that Harden is a better finisher than Westrbrook. It isn't even close between the two in that regard.

Plenty of moving of goal posts here

And lol at posters who call themselves basketball fans for drooling over westbrooks selfish style of of play because theyre attracted to how he contorts (not contour lol)his body

Its not as simple as flailing

Its harden knowing how to protect the ball and finishing and opponents fouling him because its their last resort

You think the refs are incompenent or dont know the rules?

lol come on. You have got to be ****ing kidding me.

Field goal percentage at the basket year by year for each player

    Harden:
    .468
    .624
    .723
    .650
    .632
    .618
    .650

    Career: .630

    Westbrook:
    .476
    .533
    .606
    .631
    .609
    .592
    .580
    .596

    Career: .577

Westbrooks best year finishing at the rim would be Harden's 4th best.

You made a statement. I fact checked you, now you are trying to just bull**** your way into not looking stupid.

The world where Westbrook is a better finisher at the rim than Harden DOES NOT EXIST.

'selfish'... Let me show you some cognitive dissonance. Harden apologists 'prove' that Harden isn't selfish because he averages 7.5 assists per game... on 4.8 topg but we can ignore that I guess.

Yet Westbrook is selfish when he averages ALMOST ELEVEN ASSISTS PER GAME... ON LESS TURNOVERS... K

Because he flails his arms and snaps his head back while jumping 10 inches off the ground.

And guess what...he has better results!

Unless, you know, results don't matter now. Whatever suits the narrative, my friend!

Neither Harden nor Westbrook are "selfish". Both are responsible for a large portion of the playmaking on their team.

You guys who voted you would still be fans stop kidding yourself.. Harden would get so much hate on this board as a flopping, ball hog, lazy ass, no defense, plays for the calls, horrible attitude with his stupid stirring the pot antics.

And are you seriously trying to make an argument centered around the idea that it's not a good thing to get fouled when attacking the basket?

Other than Harden finishing at the basket at a .630 career rate, you know what else is better for a team than Westbrooks career .577 rate of finishing at the basket? Harden going to the line and hitting free throws at a career .855 rate.

In his whole career how many times has he been warned or fined for flopping?

I just think Harden is the best SG and one of the best 5/6 players in the world so yeah, i would still be a fan of a great talent, that's why i like to watch players like KD, LBJ, Curry, Paul, George, Wes, they're all great, you can prefer one to another but they're simply great players, even if you "hate" them (like i "hate" CPflop).
