Hate the owner, morey, and the coaches. The rockets put to rockets in a position to fail. Not the other way around.

I'm a huge fan of Morey and Moreyball. I've always liked players that get most of their points from threes, layups/dunks, and free throws. So I've always liked guys like Kevin Martin, Durant, and Harden.

There's things I like and things I don't like. His Euro-step is probably one of the most devastating, perfected moves I've ever see in the NBA. So yes, of course I like watching that. I also like when he drains the step back.

If I were a fan of the other team, of course I'd hate that he draws so many fouls by being so good at it.

I think he's a great, creative passer, so not sure where all that hate is coming from all the sudden.

The problem is he's been extra lazy this season for some reason (especially the stupid no look bounce passes he constantly throws off defenders feet), which leads to an excessive amount of turnovers. Occasionally, the refs mercifully call it a kick ball, but I think they all should be turnovers.

I don't know, even with his impressive stats, he just hasn't been right all season. I expect him to get himself together for next year.

We are a contender? If he needs better coaches and teammates, how does he make us "instant" contender?

Anyway, this is not what this thread is about. The OP is asking IF he was not a Rocket, would you still be his fan? Lots of poster just ignore the point of the thread and simply go on to say how good or bad he is FOR THE ROCKETS.

I don't even like him as is, the only reason I find him tolerable is because sometimes he helps the rockets win.

How about 'unatheltic relative to other NBA guards'?

I would say Klay Thompson is in better shape than James Harden.

never a fan of harden and his game - past and present. and if he doesnt change the way he plays (unlikely), wont be a fan in the future either. and that's regardless if he's a rocket or not.

a different situation, but had the same feeling towards sf3.

Move goal posts? Harden is stronger but I would assume that Thompon is faster in a straight line. As a smaller guard, Harden is going to have quicker footwork than Thompson, but overall I think Thompson is about on par with Harden athletically.

I liked him in Okc and before he teamed up with Dwight. Now, he's shown he's true colors. This organization turned him into this.

Well, my standard for James Harden is higher than Thompson. I thought he could be a MVP level player?

Keep in mind when ever I put down Harden or have negative things to say about him it's relative to other superstar leaders in the NBA.

Good. They should be higher for Harden, because he's better. Well said.

anyone saying they like harden's game is lying. he is a tremendous offensive player but he is the very definition of an ISO, ball-controlling, little off the ball movement player.
