My friend, then you don't follow much baseball as Kike is a quality major leaguer, right now a much better 4th outfielder than Marinsnick, and i really like Marisnick, but Kike is very good. And yes, he plays in the infield to.

I think Kike can play with all major leagues teams right now.

And for the record, he hit .307 last year, and is a .295 career hitter, and hitting over .400 this year.

Is that a troll???? Or you just don't know much about baseball???

When you evaluate a trade, you don't use the data from before the trade. Who knows how it'll pan out but VV's performance the other day has to put a little doubt in anyone's mind. It was a historic performance.

He's a player. I saw him hit those two homers and a double off Bumgarner the other night. It was unbelievable. He's one guy I wish we could have kept.

Only tangentially related but today I was told the Astros have been closely watching Matt Moore and have talked to the Rays about him. Supposedly he is under contract/team option for years at a low number...... No idea on who or what would go to Tampa or how serious/close it is to happening.

    1. K
    2. McCullers
    3. Moore
    4. McHugh
    5. Fiers

Maybe Fiers would be involved in the deal.

He will become a FA in 2018.

His contract is 5 years 14 millions, and arbitration in 2017, FA in 2018

He is under contract for $5M this season and has team options for $7M (2017), $9M (2018), and $10M (2019).

He's off to a good start this season and if it continues the price would skyrocket. Prior to opening day he did fit the profile of the type of guy Luhnow would try to buy low on. But at this rate by midseason he will cost Bregman plus 2-3 other very good prospects.

Best case would be Moore for Bregman, Singleton, and Feliz. Worst would be Bregman, Reed, and Martes.

Lance McCullers would look great in place of Fister.

Tropeano and Perez for Hank Conger. Ugh.
