Exactly. Harden doesn't have the quickness that players like Curry and Reggie had off the ball. Harden really struggles to get separation from his defender when he is off the ball. He's a big body for a sg defender to catch. That's why in last minute 4th quarter inbound plays, the Rockets struggle so much to get Harden the ball because he is easily defendable off the ball.
It's quite possible you are right, but it's also possible that it does get through to him eventually.
You honestly think it can't happen again? GS bored through damn-near the entire league. What makes anyone think the Rockets can shut them down if they're healthy? I'm asking because if he had said what you said he should've said and they came back and lost by 10+ again (which is likely), then the board'll jump on him for that. :grin:
The Rockets need more than a spanking. They need to call Adrian Peterson and have him bring his toolbox to the clubhouse. I don't care how our players handle the media. I think it's evident that Harden is upset over his performance. Did you guys not watch him take down that AV stand last year?
In my humble opinion, I just don't believe Harden cares about winning as much as being a celebrity. And nothing the team experiences is going to change that. I remember seeing games where MJ, Kobe, Lebron, etc. left the court exhausted as if they gave it all they had. I rarely see that max, all out, I'm about to pass out effort from Harden. And maybe he does give 110% and I just can't see it. So if I'm wrong I'll eat that, but until everyone (especially his teammates) can see that he cares there'll be no turnaround for the franchise
Harden is a bum and always has been. We've noticed this every year. He's another regular season hero.
The final score might not be something you can control, but like I said, don't lose by being unprepared and not aggressive. The first half was a pathetic effort. And that's what can't happen again. That's what I am talking about.
Why would Harden Care about the team, the only thing he cares about is his self. He has his millions from Adidas and other endorsements and he understands that he makes his money by scoring and playing offense.. NOT DEFENSE.. He knows he still going to make money no matter if the rockets win or not, so why should he change... I'll say it one more time, Harden is just a modern day version of Adrian Dantley. T_Man
