i just ordered all of the threads from the beginning of clutchfans and this one is not even on the top 5 pages ( i stopped looking after that) interest is waning for this team.

time to rebuild around harden and capela. would have been nice to have a draft pick. i hope these 4-5 games was worth it

Harden had a **** game. But when you start brewer ofc they are going to shut harden down. THEY WERENT EVEN GUARDING BREWER

 

This was a total team failure from brass to ball boy.

I'm glad we got totally dismantled and destroyed vs losing by 8. You can't make excuses when you get blown out by 27 in the first half and the opposing team doesn't even need it's best player for more than 20 minutes. We lost in every category imaginable and then some.

No one in Houston can now have an illusion that this team is a few changes away from righting the ship. The gap between a champion and a bad team is very clear and it has been shown to the entire basketball world. The players, their friends, their wives and girlfriends, the coaches, the little kids who ask for autographs - they all know this team is a moonshot distance away from being a legit threat to the throne.

Half the solution is finally realizing we have a big big problem.

Now maybe we can start fixing it instead of putting bandages over it.

 

Add to that:

-Coaching does not matter.
-It only adds a couple of games +- within margin of error
-Numerous tweets from Maury about meaningless stats about James Harden. He da MVP!

I agree, we can NOT dwell on the terrible officiating. I don't think JVG said that as an excuse. He was just stating the facts.

I truly believe that this loss was COMPLETELY on JBB.

The Rockets has talent, but just not functioning as a team. I don't know if it's the system, or players just don't fit together. Look at the Warriors, many of their players were not wanted by other teams, but they all valuable contributors with GS uniform.

To win one, the Rockets has to play a near perfect game, while the Warriors plays down below their average. That chance is not high.
