It's not just offense the pitching hasn't been good either. The hope I have is that their are some good players in the farm system I believe can help now

 

I'm just guessing here but the players probably have something to do with performance and the slow start. We can credit the players for last years success and not blame them for the slow start this year? Hinch can only do so much short of pick up a bat himself...not pinch hitting Castro--for example-- isn't going to make or break an Astros win and, if we are relying on the 9th spot to produce, then this team isn't going anywhere fast. Clutch hitting has been horrendous with runners in scoring position.

 

Less Gomez and Valbuena and more Marisnick and Marwin please

Ok, so who's responsibilty is it to get the team ready to play and put the team in yhe best position to win? I'm just asking?

 

When you are in close games, the manager is the one to blame. If you are losing by 1, late in games, you need offense, why are you letting one of worse hitters in baseball hit in the 7th?

We lose many 1 run games, yes players are responsible, but so is the manager.

Is this team good? Average? BAd?

Last year, after a GREAT MONTH this team has been average.
We are starting the season very BAD.

Is this team bad? why average for so long? If the team is good, and is playing average or bad then the manager needs to be changed.

 

Been a Houston sports fan all my life and as we all know it's sooooo tough ! Not sure if any other city has worse luck and I'm not talking about wins and loses.....

Hinch may be to blame some, but they have personnel problems right now regardless. And you can see a mile away that they are going to wait too long to address them.

Team chemistry is a big part and I'm not saying it's all Hinch but for a team to be just going through the motions alot of the time with the talent they do have, you have to put alot of it on him.
