Howard's laugh after goal tending or turnover made me feel pissed off.

Had thought it would be a closer game.

after Kerr saw the 2nd half performance, he probably figured he don't need Curry for the rest of this series.

    Draymond:

    Rockets physical nature?

(Laughs) We knew it would be physical. Playoff basketball. It's what you expect. Wasn't more than what we expected.

    Caught them on their heels?

They were. We defended well to start the game. I was surprised they didn't go into Dwight. First 6 minutes he didn't a touch. He was ready. He didn't get many to start the game. Our D was sound. Everyone was flying around. Our defense played a huge part.

Bev & Steph - did that annoy you?

No. That's part of the game. First one there? Yeah, that's my guy. Annoyed? No. That's part of the game. With Pat, you grow to expect it. That's how he made his way in this league. Gotta have respect for a guy like that. He is who he is and doesn't deter away from that.

    Steph?

You lose the MVP, it changes. There is concern but I think he'll be fine at some point. If not, same mentality throughout the year. Next man up. We got the blue print. We did it at Houston on NYE.

    Tech in the 4th?

Not earned. Physical play, you have to match it or you'll get run off the floor. You can't let someone push you and not push back. If you don't match that, then you're in trouble. One thing about the playoffs, we were up 29 with 6-7 minutes to go and coach left us in. You don't want guys to get rhythm.

    Mo off the bench?

Very important. He's one of the scorers on the bench unit. He was also good on the boards & on defense. We know he can score. When he's good on defense and rebounding, that's when it's tough. That's what stood out lately to me. He'll knock down shots. He stepped up on defense. That's been key and shouldn't go unoticed.

To beat Houston like this, with Steph only playing a half, does that tell you how this series will go?

As they showed during the 3rd, they can come back. You have to stay locked in. Playoffs, every game is different. If we play our brand, it could have the same outcome but... we know this is a talented club. James struggled tonight and didn't get to the FT line. You gotta expect that to be different game two. It doesn't tell us how the series will go. It's not who they are. We have to build on this. They'll throw haymakers in game two.

Draymond said in the press conference that he was surprised that the Rockets didn't give Dwight the ball in the beginning of the game.

Dwight sucks at posting up. If he doesn't get stripped, he is liable to air ball a hook shot or get fouled and miss the free throws.

You understand why the Warriors are so good, understand that you can't let guys get into Rhythm for the next game.

So true, if the Clippers understood that they would have won that series. The Warriors do though.

Getting fouled against this team is a good thing. They are not a big team, his match up with Bogut will be tough but after that he has BBQ chicken and the rest of our bigs as well.

    Dwight:

    Chippiness?

Part of the game/playoffs. Emotions will be high. It'll get chippy out there.

(Missed the question) We allowed it to get us frustrated. We have to play through all that.

Offense breaking down in the first half?

    Gotta continue to move.

Surprised &/or frustrated it didn't come into you early?

Can't get frustrated. Gotta play through it. Gotta get rebounds & do the little things.

Stagnation an issue throughout the year. Can that be turned around in 48 hours?

Only have one choice: do it or lose.

    Dwight did alright Posting wise

I think he only had 1 turnover from posting up

And he Put Bogut in Foul trouble

Atleast missed FT allow us to get back on Defense

Not in the playoffs. He's a beast and we didn't exploit that at all.

    Great job JBB.

    Plus Brewer starting. Ouch

Greene and Ekzeili also count as legitimate bigs. Golden State is a complete team and they are indeed big. Even Verajao will give Howard a run for his money in his current state. Rox are the small team in this matchup.
