Last year in the playoffs, we were missing our starting PG and PF and we still beat them once. If somehow they lose Curry and/or Green, do we win? We have some rough, athletic dudes on our team and when playing aggressive playoff basketball, such injuries could happen. Seriously, our team is straight up thug compared to the warriors. It's like the River Oaks country club team going to the 3rd ward courts where the rims don't have any nets.
Bruce Bowen was the last player in the NBA who truly deserved to get a horrific career-ending injury in his prime. Dude was a dirty punk who purposely injured other players. Haven't seen a player this era who fits that description. Curry and Green are annoying at best. But I'm sure OKC fans still pray for a Bev injury.
It's not the forum. A few random questions have been posed which reflect on how dominant the Warriors are. "Even if they lost their best 2 players could we beat them?": how does that reflect badly on anyone? You're too sensitive.
Losing is okay if we compete, sometimes you are just not there yet, but not this ****, the season is bad enough for everybody, can we not go any lower?
It's the title of the thread. Definitely looks bad, but it is a legitimate discussion point. Can we beat the Warriors without their two best players. The answer is yes. We can beat them without Curry for sure IMO. Definitely if absent both.
You never pray for injuries, but the Warriors would have some HUGE issues if Steph went down. Draymond, even with his great skill set, wouldn't be as bad. He can be contained to an extent. Steph is in his own world. I'd rather beat the Bay with everyone healthy. I'm channeling my CaptainJack/BDiddy/JRich/MattBarnes vibe of guys who dismantled Dallas way back when. It's rare, but possible, and if you have James Harden on your roster, anything can happen. I'm looking forward for Pat to play Steph hard (not going under screens) and Dwight FINALLY showing Andrew Bogus that he's a flopping, overrated, bum-elbow Lurch with limited game. Dwight is too strong to let Andrew get the best of him. Let's pray our free throws improve quickly and Capela only shots a max of 4 per game. If Hack-a-Howard/Capela/Smoov becomes CoatTail Kerr's game plan, JB better get Beas in there ASAP or move Trev over to mess with Draymond, the player who makes way more money than he should. Sorry, not sorry. I'm in the zone today for my guys, and my despise for Dray's character and Steph's cockiness is in full-effect. Pat Bev is not going to let him have his point easily. I just hope the refs don't fall for Steph kicking his legs out like Reggie Miller, resulting in multiple fouls from beyond the arc. Boy, do I wish we had Metta on our team for this series. He could easily take Dray and Klay out of their comfort zone. I'll be having nightmares of Capela and KJ for the next week. (Please, KJ, shoot sparingly and don't leave your feet when defending the shooters. And, please, Clint, stop fouling guys from behind the three. Stay in the paint so that Knot-Head Speights doesn't drop David West jumpers over you again and again.)
If it's a legitimate discussion point, then how in the world does it look bad? Nobody is wishing death upon these guys, but last year they beat us when we were injured and I'm inquiring about the mirror image of that. Fans are so sensitive these days.
You guys are ridiculously sensitive. It's a valid question. Could we beat them without their stars? Given the circumstance whoever did so would probably get a lifetime ban. Actually I never read OPs post because he's on my ignore list. He's a troll, not a fan.
wait.. what? You had me up until saying that I'm a troll not a fan. I started a Rockets fan club and watch games regularly, while enduring the SH&* talking from LA fans and defending our team. Do NOT ever question my fanhood breh.
