More interesting to me is another quote from the article.

This dude is in serious denial. The partying is pretty much the sole reason he continues to be unemployed.

He's probably never not partied... he has no idea how not to.

He got away with it in college, where Sumlin didn't really have a playbook, and they'd implement easy-to-follow game plans the week of.

And it remains to be seen... even if he's clean/sober... even if he's a ardent student of the game... there's still the question whether his frame/body-type can stay healthy long enough in this league to have an impact.

KUWJM: Manziel is living with Josh Gordon, not Von Miller

Need to hit up Gordon's and Manziel's apartment. Those parties must be freaking epic.

Lulz, the difference between Von Miller & Josh Gordon... might as well room with Charlie Sheen.

lol cmon gordon probably just smokes weed and plays video games. thats very tame compared to Manziel's alcohol fueled nights or Sheen's drug binges. Sounds like a funny buddy comedy though.

    LOL

I'm not drunk. I'm not partying, just chillin'. I'm living with my man Josh Miller or Von Gordon.

Oh, we just hit a light pole? Nah, we didn't a hit a light pole. That was a bird or something. Light pole? We didn't hit no light pole.

My second agent just fired me? No way?! Who was my agent? I didn't have no agent. Gary Kubiak's my agent. He didn't fire me.

He's going to die unless somebody gets control of him.

Johnny's too far gone now. He will never play another down in the NFL. Totally deserved too for this punk loser. I have zero sympathy for him.

I don't know how or who, his family has either encouraged him or turned a blind eye for about a decade now.

It's sad to see, but you can't help people who don't want to be helped and who have zero support structure around them.

I've heard on the radio his Dad bought him a luxury car in 11th grade so he'd stop drinking, so there you go. He's going to have to get a DUI or something for him to possibly catch his snap, that or sad to say someone dying.
