What do the Warriors board thinks about the GSW-HOU matchup

Seems to mirror Rockets fan's thoughts.

 

They have every right to be arrogant. They're a 73-9 1st seed playing against a .500, underperforming 8th seed that wouldn't have made the playoffs if the Jazz didn't collapse.

 

I actually think they are nicer to the Rockets than we are. LOL.

 

Meh, you could also say Rockets would've been a top 5 seed if they didn't collapse.

 

do you expect them, after breaking the bulls 72-10 record, to not think they can sweep the struggling rockets who couldnt secure a playoff spot till the very last game?
what am i missing here?

Seeding past the 4th seed means absolutely nothing this year because of how weak the west is.

The 5th seed this year would only have been 10th seed last year. Think about that, don't use seeding as an excuse for our horrible season.

 

yeah man - always good to hear from the other side of the wall. this is the first time in recent rockets memory that both fan bases are pretty much in agreement. oh well.

I always enjoy qftos personally and nothing seems out of line or egregerous from the comments quoted. They are full of confidence and rightfully so but they for the most part are at least showing respect for the rockets.

"Long history" made me laugh given how chill Ariza usually is. (It was about the Klay Thompson concussion last year, if that statement was a headscratcher to anyone else.) Pretty much the same as the Thunder fans turning one incident into "Pat Beverley murders children."

As a whole, I think their assessments are fair.

 

We have a great team. Chemistry is chemistry. It doesn’t matter if they got it at the end of the season, as long as they have it. We didn’t have Beverly last playoffs against the Warriors, re-signed Smith & added Beasley. I like our chances & believe the Rockets have an advantage over the Warriors if they use their length & athleticism to their advantage on offense & defense.

 

Some were pretty nice, and gave us one win.

 

Other than a few comments here and there they seem to know Houston could give them some trouble if they are focused. I think it'll be a good series
