Yup. I'm getting nervous. Not full-fledged worried yet, but they need to get it going.

Ah yes, the guy that had a .991 OPS in September for us, let's bench that guy for the whole year lol

** And before anyone talks about that being a small sample size, it's a larger sample size that what we have from this year for him and people want him gone

I would say relax people it's a long year, but some people don't want to hear that since supposedly, the season is over anyway

BTW, we have played 6% of the season

This line of thinking is absolutely baffling to me.

    After 10 games?

Man George. Not a great look for you after the game you had.

Last year I felt like he was kind of the heartbeat of the team

Not the best player mind you, but he sure seemed to be the "engine" that made so much of the energy work...needs to get his head right, think he is more of a "leader" than even he knows himself

Astros in 2015 went 11-16 in September.
Astros in 2015 has a 33-48 record on the road
Astros just played the mlb champs at home.

They are not playing well but it's a long season. Plenty of time to get hot. The year the Astros went to the world series they had only a 41-41 record the first half of the season.

The last time that the Astros were above .500 after the first 10 games of the season was 2006.

    Just putting that out there.

Well, it's simple: either the complainers/panickers are going to be right, or the people complaining about the complainers and saying it's only 10 games into the season, etc., will be right.

Why don't you boys pony up with some bets, quit the useless back and forth nonsense, and let's get some accountability going in here

It does. I'm remembering how I felt when I stopped reading the GARM. It just became too frustrating. I'm hoping it doesn't happen here too, but it's starting to feel inevitable.

-Too many people overvalue future when considering present vs. future

-Too often, things like the 40 man roster size are ignored when going back and re-evaluating trades.

-And my biggest issue is that people forget about the risk factors and unknowns involved when making trades. Trades are made with probabilities in mind...which means that sometimes they're not going to work out in the best possible way. Trades are made with imperfect information, so all you can ask is that they win more than they lose, accomplish what they're trying to accomplish overall (present vs. future), and don't lose the ones they lose too horribly.

To go back and expect perfection on every transaction is ridiculous. No one in that position could achieve it because the information you would have isn't high fidelity enough to do it. And to evaluate trades based on 10 games of information is completely ridiculous.

    It's not 10 games, it's 60 years + 1 year of horrible trades.

I believe theres 4 or 5 other parks with these sorts of lights installed... and they've all had similar complaints.

It does make the field look great... both on TV and in person... but there has to be a cost for all that brightness, and we've already seen instances in 2 out of the first 6 games there (including the 2 ST games).

Honestly, if its that big of a problem, they may have to consider wearing some sort of sunglasses for home night games... which would look really really dumb, but would be the only way to guarantee not being affected by it.

Did the lights go dim when KC went to the outfield? Didn't stop them from throwing some leather around this series. That was weak by George.
