What Les says means nothing. The Rockets go to the Conference finals and then eleven games into the next season the coach is fired. Anything is possible at anytime with Les and this team.

You also blew a chance at a 3rd ring by trading for Barkley but whatever...

Wouldnt say turd but he needs to stop living off those back to back seasons and realize that decent isnt acceptable any more.

This........ the context of those quotes is pretty clear. Alexander has no plans to replace Morey anytime soon.

Now..... the rest of them (sans Harden) should rent and not buy their home.

Lol just no to your last point.

Championship teams like the Spurs, Heat, Lakers have let go of a couple of role players after they have won their title.

That is pretty common, you do not want to overpay role players

Get a grip - Morey ain't goin nowhere! If we totally get manhandled in the first round, DM might get his reigns pulled back and he will have to contend with a REAL coach that will provide push back - which would be a good thing... DM is a GREAT GM, but was simply given too much power and was allowed to hire figurehead and yes men coaches... that should change....

The season did not turn out how we expected, but that's not Morey's fault.

I don't understand why people want morey to be fired. He resigned players like Brewer and Beverley who most people believe was a top priority. He traded for a second scoring option in Lawson that we desperately needed and he got Beasley and smoove.

You don't fire your GM just to fire unless there's a better option available, which their isn't.

It's not Moreys fault that the season didn't go as planned. He did everything that was asked of him. It just simply didn't work out.

So whose responsibility would it be to bring this team to be one of the top teams? I guess it is not Morey's. It simply did not work out.

Coaching. Team plays no defense, don't get back on defense, too many turnovers, undisciplined. That's on the coach.

Morey's only fault was not getting a legit head coach but then again, they did make the WCF with Mchale at head coach.

Also, Dwight Howard has noticeably declined this season. He's no longer a superstar.

yes, that is the summary. Morey brought us Harden, the best player in the NBA, therefore, the best GM.

Actually I don't see a better GM out there that is available for hire, so ???

Morey is going to assist JB coaching them up....by jacking as many 3's as possible and hope they go in or in case of emergence break glass and unleash Harden ISO till he commits a bone crushing turnover.

Nobody in this organization can 'stay in their lane'

GM who wants to intervene on what should be coaching decisions... regarding oncourt operations...

SG who wants to operate as a PG..... and sets the record for turnovers...

Les who wants to interject and recede at his whims....

Everybody is great at their job - if only they would do THEIR JOB and not try to do somebody elses...
