Damn, that looks like LeBron if he went bald instead of getting Bosley hair transplant. That nose though...
haha so cringe worthy COME ON KOBE! GO FOR 50 ATTEMPTS! Set the NBA single game record for attempts and break a Jordan record lol
What a night. Curry with 400 3's. Kobe with 60 points and took 50 shots. He looked completely gassed but was still able to score 60 points at age 38. What's the highest point score by anyone over 38 years old? I can't believe anyone can break Kobe 60 points or Curry's 400 or Warriors 73 or Harden 500 turnovers

WOW that was just amazing. Must it been even crazier live, like unreal. And please get outta here with that nonsense that the Jazz were letting up, no freaking way. They were trying hard to defend him and Kobe just went nuts. The tough shots he hit and the range on some of his threes, man...that is one of the top 10 games of his career probably. What a farewell!! The only downside: Hubie Brown. Shut the **** up and let it happen, stop trying to point out every freaky move, but since it was on ESPN there's also local feed so that's good.
Kobe is the closest thing to MJ we'll ever see. People act like him not being good as MJ is a BAD thing lol. I see it differently. The guy has 5 rings w/ 2 DIFFERENT rosters. That's pretty impressive. He also went through a rebuilding period in which neither MJ nor Lebron wanted part of. Could you imagine how different Mj's stats would be had he played with Smush Parker, Kwame Brown & Chris Mihm?
Jordan has 6 rings with 2 different rosters... No need for imagination. Look at Jordan's stats from the mid-late 80's.

What an incredible performance! He was vintage Kobe...chucking with no conscience and continuing to shoot whether it went in or out. He took over the game when it mattered the most and made shots when they counted on his way to scoring 60 points and leading his team to victory in his very last game. What a way to go out...absolutely legendary!
Yeah, it was an amazing thing to watch, pulling the sun back up into the sky for one more day of summer. DD
With ESPN, it's a "catch 22"...with their #1 crew, I don't like Mike Breen that much (but don't have any issues at all with JVG). With their #2 crew, I can't stand Hubie either (but LOVE how Tirico gets in the moment; see 4th Quarter of Game 6 @ LAC last season). Tirico went absolutely nuts (in a great way) when the Rockets completed that climactic comeback last year (while Jon Barry acted like a spoiled brat who didn't get his way when it all happened). Tirico did the exact same thing last night when Kobe got it done (after being down 15). You could simply hear it in his voice as it took place. If Tirico and JVG could call the main games, that would be wonderful IMO.
Honestly, I never liked Kobe in the past, but that was because his stans were unbearable & he killed us when we played him. He's shown a lot of class this season. I always have respected him as a player & always will. He inspired a lot of people, one of those is the best player on the Rockets, & if Harden turns out to be at least half as successful as Kobe has, i'll be more than happy. The way I'll remember him is as the player that defies the realm of "impossible". Thanks for the fun times Mamba.
Wanted no part of? Jordan and LeBron were drafted to garbage teams and paid their dues with those bad rosters for years. Kobe played with Prime Shaq as a rookie after demanding only to play for the Lakers instead of paying his dues with the Hornets. What if LeBron demanded only to play for the Pistons when he came out of HS? Kobe also STARTED the rebuild by running Shaq out. He broke up the dynasty, and it didn't start with running Shaq out, it started with Kobe chucking away for 38% in the Finals against Detroit and shooting the Lakers to their end. Once he got his wish of his own team and that team was garbage, KOBE DEMANDED A TRADE and was instantly gifted Pau. In reality Kobe only had to endure 1 bad losing season before he got Phil Jackson back and then the most dominant front line in the league at the time. Quit trying to rewrite Kobe history just like Kobe himself tries to do with the media.
lol what's everyones problem with hubie? just wondering I like his commentary. Very good bball iq and points out good plays every now and then. Better than having homers at the helm...
