I really wish people would stop using this meaningless stat to prove a point. At the end of the day, did he help us win.

Hard to do that from the bench.

Why wouldn't he be? He's a RFA, right? I don't think any team will offer him a big contract, and I don't think he's sign a multi-year contract for a small amount. IMO, the most likely scenario is that he plays for the qualifying offer and becomes an unrestricted FA in the summer of 2017.

He wasn't really given a chance. Giving him minutes while misusing him is not "giving him a chance".

I'd see DMo back or more accurately gamble on DMo for $10mil for 2 years (team option on 2nd year). We can field a better front court next season with a good pickup:

    Ariza/McDaniels
    DMo/Beasley/Horford/Ariza
    Horford/Capela/DMo

or a cheaper option to focus on the wing or guard spot.

    Ariza/McDaniels
    DMo/Beasley/Ariza/Pau Gasol
    Capela/Pau Gasol/DMo

    The sky isn't falling yet.

6 minutes in the 1st half for the X-factor

On pace for 12 minutes this game, a vast improvement over yday

Well he is there - let's hope he can make an impact. A lot is predicated on finding a rhythm - let's hope we get a shorter rotation so he can get consistent minutes to make an impact.

Dmo has made Terrence Jones look like Lebron James.

Lol Tjones is a bum man. Dmo, even at 60%, gives the team way more than Terrence.

So now the new excuse for Dmo is that he is only 60%? You guys hAve so many excuses.
It's time to put them away and face the truth. Dmo is just not that into you. A pretty face doesn't make you a better player. Let him go.

D Mo sucks. And has accomplished nothing. I've never understood this boards fascination with him

Only to people that know literally nothing about basketball. As soon as you learn the objectives of the game, you know that statement is laughably inaccurate.

Shorter rotation likely means D-Mo is out. Would put money on JBB starting Brewer even to go small and match up... unfortunately.

You don't have to know a lot about basketball to see that we barely made the playoffs with Dmo starting.
Wasn't the case when Jones was starting. As a matter of fact we were in the playoffs a month before the season was over.
    See how easy that was?

With DMo starting 22 games, the Rockets barely make the playoffs, with DMo starting 62 games, the Rockets are the 2 seed.

Seriously, can we just can the delusion that Terrence Jones is even an NBA caliber player? He's not a starter for ANY NBA team and honestly probably won't even be on an NBA roster 2 or 3 years from now.

At this point Jones is solidly the 4th best PF on the Rockets roster and will likely be inactive for the entire playoffs with Harrell back with the team.

There are things in life, that when we look at them, we should instantly know are bad ideas and won't work. For instance, changing the oil on your vehicle and refilling it with olive oil rather than motor oil. Or attempting to use the barter system to buy a plane ticket from a TSA agent at the front of the airport security line. Both are bad ideas that just won't work.

Inserting Corey Brewer into a starting lineup for matchup purposes, regardless of intent, is another great example of a bad idea that...

    Just. Won't. Work.
