Lewandowski not starting tonight, weird. Good to see Martinez in the starting XI though, will give us much needed stability on defense. With Coman, Lewa and Götze on the bench, I could see us struggling to score, but we'll see.
Part of the plan. Bring in Lewandowski at halftime, so he scores five times in nine minutes. But seriously: As I wrote earlier, he didn't get a lot done lately. Still a little surprising. On the other hand, being able to throw in Lewa, Coman and Götze later in the game is not the worst thing to have.
1:1, we are now likely to advance. Atletico with the aggregated 2:2 lead, would current advance to the semis. Time for Messi to activate beast mode.
Atletico is doing a phenomenal job of forcing Barca to play one on one. There are always AM players surrounding FCB's Big 3.
Bayern not as convincing as they should be, but I'll take that. Counting the days until Boateng returns. And I'm really pissed I couldn't watch the spanish match. Kudos to Atlético, they are the one team I really considered a real threat to Barca because of their style. They are indeed now the one team I do not want to play in the semis. Bring on City or Real, Bayern is favorite against both.
Kudos to Atletico, were also very close to winning it all 2 years ago before Ramos converted that corner. Simeone will deserve massive props. I mean he made Torres a useful player again.
Like I said earlier, worst time to go on a slump... Pretty pathetic across the board. Nobody to blame by ourselves. Kudos to Atleti, they played their game to a perfection. Want a Bayern-Atleti final now.
Hope we somehow survive a potential matchup vs Real and defend well, title is very possible if Pep doesn't mess up.
I want Man City to end up 5th in the Premier League, and a final Bayern vs. Man City. And fire Pep the day before the final .
