I thought it's been pretty entertaining so far. Sometimes you guys just look for sh** to b**** about. Can't even enjoy a good show without throwing a b**** fit, jeez.
That's true but like someone earlier posted, what are the chances that two similar characters appear in Albuquerque of all places? I for one don't think there's any connection between the two but with this show who knows.
When Gus invited Walter to his house for dinner, Gus had explained that he was excited to finally be able to cook the dish he was making because "the kids don't like it." In that scene, you could also see kids toys on the floor. That would imply he had young children, but by BB time Ernie would be a grown man. Could be that Ernie was his oldest child, who knows...
Sorry, I didn't realize this was a safe space. I thought this was a forum to discuss the show and critique it, good or bad. There's a large concensus that have shared the opinion that this season has been slow, and that's a valid criticism. But I guess we can only say good things about the show and have everyone agree with happy opinions. I thought he was, too, because he loved his partner enough to exact revenge on the whole cartel. The show did imply he had a family in Albuquerque as part of his cover for a normal life. And it would've been years after his partner was killed. It's plausible that Ernesto is Gustavo's son, but I'm not betting on it. Not enough information at this point, and too coincidental.
anyone else think kim wexler ends up getting killed or something really bad happens to her? dont think there was a mention of her in BB so i'm worried about her eventual faith.
I'm thinking she just moved away after she gives up on Jimmy. Losing her could allow Jimmy to go into full Saul mode. Letting go his earthly tether, if you will (loser references ftw).
I'm thinking she just moves away, too. As for drama beyond melodrama of relationships, maybe she gets confronted by The Twins looking for Jimmy, for some reason related to him being the lawyer for Mike. So, she gets scared off....which also doubles as a great intro for Jimmy hiring Huell. Better Call Huell.
Maybe he was but didn't realize it until later. I can't wait until he's introduced in BCS and I'm looking forward to his character development. They have many ways to portray him and his storyline. He killed it on BB. Probably one of the 5 best villains on TV all time. He's cool, calm and collected yet mercurial at the same time. Intriguing character to say the least. Basically 2 seasons in and he hasn't been introduced yet. Can't wait till he starts dominating screen time in future seasons.
pele faints. as for kim, from the outset i have expected something bad to happen to her. jimmy is going to do something that results in her death. she is han solo to jimmy's kylo ren. he needs to kill her (indirectly, of course) to fully embrace the dark side. i think jimmy is like walt in that everyone around him will be destroyed while he continues his descent. and kim went skyler last week...she is now culpable. mike is breaking bad too. he is getting his masters in crime school right now.
I think Kim goes the way via Jimmy's fix-it guy (the one who drives the mini van and sets up new identities for Saul and Walt in BB). Out of all his "contacts" in BB, Saul seemed like he had the most experience and history with him.
I tell you what.... I guess I had no clue Gus might have been gay. I just thought his partner was a talented kid he believed in. Seemed like he had a family. A man has to PROVIDE FOR HIS FAMILY. TO PROVIDEEEEEE. That's basically all I remember him saying.
I don't know what you're expecting from the show... it's not Breaking Bad or The Walking Dead. It's a drama about a guy that transforms himself into a dirty sneak of a lawyer while battling his inner demons to appease other people and do the right thing (Kim/Chuck). The side stories have been pretty entertaining with Mike facing off against the Tuco's, Twins, and Hector's of BB. Regardless its funny how everyone always falls back to the "well I guess we can't say anything negative here!" argument. Feel free, but you're complaining about something that is probably not going to change anytime soon, so you better either stop watching cause this show's just not for you or quite b****ing.
