Stereotyping in this case isn't necessary. Blacks are 13 percent of the population and commit over half of the country's violent crimes. How would it be prejudiced to assume it was a black dude if the raw numbers back it up?

The cause of death news is disturbing. DNA will be the nail in the coffin here now that we know she was sexually assaulted. Everything will come out in the trial, but it seems like this kid is dead to rights. If his court-appointed attorney tries to go for an insanity defense, I'd suggest that his burning of evidence shows a state of mind that understood the gravity of what he'd done.

I'm "white knighting" this because the thread had actual substantive discussion going on about a case that a lot of UT alumni feel connected to. The topics you're responding to have been discussed, ad ****ing nauseam, in the D&D for years. Most likely, your posts were not going to change the minds of people in this thread wishing to discuss the developments of this case.
