watched every single game of that bulls run, apparently this GS team have different styles totally, the league plays more intense defense back then due to the rules that allow more body contact, hand check on drives, so to me, yeah, with the rules of the 90s, the bulls team will probably beat this GS team, but with the rules now, it's a coin toss, both are great teams, but style wise, i prefer the bulls still, more dominant
It doesn't have to be over the rim. The ball hit the backboard and therefore has to fall below the rim before Draymond Green can touch it. If a defender hits that ball it is automatically a goal tend because it hits the backboard. The same rules should apply for the offensive player.
It could happen next year. An underrated aspect of the chase for 73 is the salary cap increase. Next year teams are going to be able to collect more talent than ever before.
Having talent is different than having chemistry. But, the Warriors have both. Talent doesn't win you championships, talent and chemistry does.
It doesn't work like that. Every team will have a larger cap and salaries will rise too. The reason the Warriors are stocked is because they bet on Curry when he was damaged goods and therefore have him on a way, way below-market deal.
Yeah, which means they have a window this off-season to add a max deal if they want, before re-signing Curry. That's kinda ridiculous, even if most likely they don't actually do that. They could just keep everyone and add a good non-max player and become even deeper.
The luxury cap is 84.74 million, which was a huge jump, and next year it is going up another 23.26 million. The warriors are at 93 million. So yeah, it matters a lot that the cap is exploding, because they would not have been able to keep draymond without it, or else they would have had to trade somebody. The cap is nearly the sore reason why the record will be broken this year. In the span of 4 years it is going to nearly double.
73, 72 blah blah blah, i still think the bulls team are better, considering every aspect of the game, i love that bulls team far more than this GS team
I don't believe this is true, but I don't know the specifics to this particular rule (or lack thereof), so you could be right. Just seems iffy that you would need to wait until the ball falls below the rim before you can do something with it. What if it's a wild shot that hits the backboard with no chance of going in? As an athletic player, you can't jump to grab the ball before it's below the rim?
What a night. Curry with 400 3's. Kobe with 60 points and took 50 shots. He looked completely gassed but was still able to score 60 points at age 38. What's the highest point score by anyone over 38 years old? I can't believe anyone can break Kobe 60 points or Curry's 400 or Warriors 73 or Harden 500 turnovers
