    You want an even scarier parallel? Remember what the Rockets did after the 1997-98 season? Clyde Drexler retired and the team acquired the most coveted free agent of the offseason(via sign-and-trade), small forward Scottie Pippen.

    This summer, Dwight Howard is widely expected to leave the team and the Rockets are planning to pursue the most coveted free agent of the offseason, small forward Kevin Durant.

    Based on our history, maybe landing Durant would blow up in our faces.
