Lin is having harden like stats in the first half..... 10for 10FT....except for the TO. 4 steals and no TO.... this scrub should be in the D league or playing in the Philippines... as tinsatan and cypress has posted.
Jerry Lin only 5/7FG, 4 points, 4 steals and only 10/10FT for just 21 points at the half and his LOFs (dumb and delusional) are going crazy over this bench scrub. LULZ
I was watching old Jeremy Lin highlights where Linsanity began last night. They gave me the chills. It was and still is an epic moment for the NBA. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/7mr3P2JMcd8" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="420" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/LeIHnmwhRqU" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
It's amazing how well Jeremy plays when he's officiated fairly. He's producing like a superstar now after the video has come out.
Pretty funny he's out playing IT after IT threw Lin under the bus for no reason, to the media (unprovoked by the way) Come on, All Star don't let a D league scrub outplay you LOL. LIke Jr Smith on the Knicks complaining of Lin's contract. Pretty classless for an NBA player to talk trash to the media about another player who is minding his own business.
I'd still rather have Lin on this team. Needed a second playmaker. Oh and Lin's turnovers would take away from many of Harden's turnovers, that way Harden wouldn't set an all time record. Win win.
He was great tonight. Every 5th game or so Jeremy Lin helps his team win a game, but when he does, it's Linsanity all over again
Who needs consistency when you can string a 1 and 25 point game together! http://espn.go.com/nba/player/gamelog/_/id/4299/jeremy-lin Just because Jeremy Lin does not lead his team in a single category, doesn't mean that he isn't a superstar. It just means he can be a superstar when the stage is smaller and more insignificant. Congrats on the year, JLIN, but consistency is a key to greener and greater pastures. May you figure that out in your last year in the NBA. JK, our Rockets are super inconsistent but we're going to get hot and win it all this year. Go difficult-to-nail-down!
Lin is a role player, and a serviceable one at that. Consistent 25 point games is what superstar franchise players like Harden do. By the way, Damian Lillard is averaging 25 points/game. How many Hardens and Damien Lillards are there in the league? Those guys are Top 20 players LOL. That's not who Lin is. A better description is a poor man's Jamal Crawford, who is a two-time former 6th man of the year. Crawford is better and more talented, but the similarity lies in that, like Crawford, Lin is best suited coming off the bench. Neither are ideal as the starting PG or SG for a good team. They need the ball in their hands and they're not franchise caliber players. They can make an impact coming off the bench, where they can handle the ball more. Crawford's numbers and Lin's numbers this year are very similar. Both playing 26 mins/game http://espn.go.com/nba/player/gamelog/_/id/165/jamal-crawford http://espn.go.com/nba/player/gamelog/_/id/4299/jeremy-lin Crawford has more points 14.2 vs 11.6 Less rebounds 1.8 vs 3.2 Less assists 2.3 vs 3.0 PER 14.07 vs 13.37 FG% are 40.4% and 40.9%. Again, Crawford is a better player than Lin, but that's the type of role ideal for Lin, in my opinion. Also, how many Crawfords do we have in the NBA? He's consistently considered one of the top 6th man in the league. There aren't many like him. If Lin can be a poor man's version of Crawford, he'll have a place in the league. LOL.. Obvious troll comment but people have been saying this every year. Barring injuries, he has a few more years left in the league. He can do what he's doing right now on a bad team (even though the Hornets aren't a bad team right now). A 6th man. Or he could be a serviceable rotation player in the mold of Leandro Barbosa for a good team. 7th to 9th man. Either way, he has a place in the league.
When you don't have consistent role and minutes, it is common not to have consistent performance. Only when given the starter role and PG duty, we can then judge if he is not consistent enough.
