    Stop being p*****s.

I've been saying for weeks that I want the Warriors in the first round. I'm glad it's happening. We have basically the same rotation as the team from last year except we have Bev and D-Mo back.

Playoffs are a whole new season.

As long as J.B. doesn't go full moron and actually plays:

    Dwight/Capela/D-Mo (Smith?)
    D-Mo/Beasley (Smith?)
    Ariza/Brewer
    Harden/Terry/Bev
    Bev/Terry/Harden

    we'll be fine

At the end of the day, even if we get swept by these guys, good.

I want that rivalry. We'll have to go through them someday and the more experience the better.

    Let's talk matchups.

I'd like to see J Smoove in the starting lineup or inserted very early to see if he can be "good Josh." He's our best option for slowing down Draymond and he actually played well against them last year. If we get bad Josh just take him out and play D.Mo as It's pretty obvious usually whether Josh is going to have a good game or not.

We need Beasley to play 30+ mpg. He's the only other player on this team that can create opportunities for himself on a regular basis.

I'd like to see us go big to see how the Warriors react and or counter.

A lineup of Harden, Beasley, (Smith or DMo), Capela and Dwight. This could pose matchup nightmares if Harden and Beasley stay focused and play disciplined defense on the perimeter. Let Josh take a few risks in the passing lanes where he's very good. Even if he gets beat let Draymond try to attack Dwight and Capela inside. Everyone trust that Dwight and Capela will lock **** up inside. If there's a way to slow down the Warriors it's with length and athleticism.

Another major key to this series if we are to have any chance. We need Smoove to play and play well. He's the only one that will be able to hang with Draymond (possibly Beasley) whether it's at the 3, 4 or 5. Boris Diaw has a lot of success against the Warriors because he's able to do a bit of everything. He can dribble, pass, roll to the hoop, face-up etc. Versatile big guys that have guard like skills are a must to have a chance against the Warriors especially when they slide Draymond to the 5. This was also evident when KAT abused them a few days ago.

We have all the pieces and depth to not only compete but to win. We just gotta be disciplined and execute.

Please.....Warriors are p*****s who we will probably sweep the first round

Our toughest game will be the rockets vs. JB & Brewer

If we can beat JB then we can basically beat anyone

That would be a horrible lineup IMO. I agree that we should be going big at times and we actually have players to do it. JB's rotation the last couple of games have been extra puzzling. A combination I've been wanting to see and that I think could really work is:

    C: Dwight (or Cappella)
    PF: Dmo
    SF: Beasley
    SG: Harden
PG: Pat (or KJ for his size and D or another floor spacer).

That way you could bother other teams with size, the D (in theory at least) should be good enough and you'd have two guys on the floor who can create for themselves, enough spacing and good enough passers and shooters (in theory at least).

this. every game rockets play against two teams. the scheduled opponent and the jb-brewer connection who sometimes get help from terry. warriors have only faced one opponent this season - the spurs.

I will get some hate for this, but we need reparations for what has been done to us as fans this season. And I didn't want to make a thread for this so I'm putting it here, since honestly, this thread needs to be derailed before it curses us even more.
    I propose:
    1. The ticket costs need to be cut.
    2. The snack bar needs to practically give out free food
    3. Les and Morey need to sort their crap out.

I am not going to pay what they are charging for this product. They still act like they are a contender and their prices are ridiculous. Lower the price for this lottery team! Peace.

DM the GM and Les, you heard the man!!! - LOWER the prices and reduce snack bar prices AND while you are at it, please send me flight tickets and court side seats for games 3 and 4 if we make the playoffs. (I will gladly pay for the hotel myself, I'll even pay FULL prices at the snack bar)...I'm actually being serious...

Have you seen the Rockets' defense? No seriously, have you seen it? Where did it go? Point is, whatever dropoff the Warriors may have suffered(assuming there is one), the Rockets' decline at that end of the floor is demonstrably worse. They gave up 124 points on their home floor to a crappy Suns team in a must win game.
