We can be knocked out of the playoffs today if we lose at Minnesota while the Jazz beat the Mavs. Otherwise, we have to wait till the last day on Wednesday.

As said earlier, the Rockets can't be the 7th seed in any scenario.

Why, why, why, we could get lucky in the Lotto and come away with a top draft pick, fire Morey and Bickerstaff, let Howard and Josh leave, trade Brewer and Terry, and get on with rebuilding this team to win titles.

I think we can if Rockets win out, Mavs lose out and Jazz win 1 of their last 2. Mavs miss playoffs due to tiebreakers the Rockets and Jazz would have over them.

True but in a three-way tie the jazz will be 7th, the Rockets will be 8th and the Mavs will be out. Jazz win the combined head to head for all three teams.

I'll just leave it at this:

When the Suns pounded the Rockets, there were only a few guys that actually cared. Players talk. Mutual friends on different teams. Word gets around when dysfunction lives. The cliques are the problem. Bitterness over minutes. James is delivering, but that doesn't matter to some.

Yep, I think it's pretty obvious to those who are objective here and know about basketball that Harden is a part of the problem (a fairly big part) this season and as a result a lot of the teammates are indifferent towards him and just don't bother to do all the dirty work around him or give more than 100% while he coasts on the defensive end and proceeds to play me ball on the offensive end. There is definitely some internal turmoil and a rift amongst players in that locker room - No Chemistry and lack of a coach who can get this group to play together.

It's only those Hardenites who don't know much about basketball and will continue to blame it all on the role players and others while absolving Harden of all blame for this pathetic season who are somehow negligent to this.

I think Codman meant that some OTHER players didn't care about Harden tearing it up in that game. He didn't say it was BECAUSE of Harden or just a fact of the Rockets being cliquish.

Yeah, you could see Dmo, KJ and Beasley looking over at JB in the 4th when the Rockets were stinking it up.

Going by social media, it looks like those 3 guys get along more with Dwight than Harden.

The real problem is the lack of talent of those role players, and the lack of offensive talent in our second start, simple as that.

You can try and blame harden all you want, but there is nothing on offense he isnt the best on the team in except for rebounding.

That tell you alot about hardens great offensive game but also tells alot about how un-talented the rest of the roster is around him....Do you want to see any of these players ball handle and have play making duties...Beverley, Ariza,Brewer, Terry, KJ, Dwight.
Our only other talent resides in the PF department , Dmo and beasley both can pass and score on their own unlike the other players but yet they arent getting enough minutes to contribute.

You can say all you want about the cliques, but when you cant recognize your own limits, and then proceed to blame the star who is carrying you on his back on most nights, then its obvious to me those ppl care about alot of other **** much more then the game itself.
Dwight was brought here to be a defensive beast, and harden an offensive juggarnaut .....Dwight the idiot cant just except his limits and play basketball ffs. WHO are you to ask for touches on offense when you cant hit fts, or make a post move....know your limitations you ****show of a team

Odds of Top 3 pick are 1.5%. Odds of NBA Championship are less than 0.1%.

    Tough choice...
