What and/or why does this have a damn thing to do with anything else?

Why do people b**** just to b**** other than to just b**** like b****es?

Houstun is lacking when it comes to winning.

Can't blame loyal fans for complaining.

Any argument/hate otherwise should be directed toward H-Towners who...
    - cheer for the Spurs
    - disowned the Stros for AL'ing
    - cheer for the Titans
    - cheer for the Cowboys

Huh? So being a Houston fan means that the Astros failures should be kept seperate from the Texans/Oilers failures and the Rockets(only team to win a couple championships but promptly went into the crapper) failures? Are you serious? You can bury your head in the sand and not give two ****s but a real Houston fan deserves the right to b**** because ya know what b****ing means you care enough to b**** and not a pussified pacifist going along with whatever is dealt and piss poor decisions while taking it in the ass.

It's just silly to assume the Astros and their GM are going to make illogical decisions because the Rockets or Texans did something like that. (That's what this series of post from you would indicate.)

    Do you see yourself talking?

All I'm saying is why watch sports if all they do is piss you off? Life is too short. Enjoy the game(sport) for what it is, entertainment, and make yourself knowledgeable enough to recognize and respect the incredible skills of the guys playing it (on both sides).

Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains.

It's what we do. Gomez was the subject of yet another poor decision made by a Houston sports team. It's not the Rockets or the Texans fault.

    Hell, I'm only 41, I still have a pulse ******* ;)

It's cool, each unto his own and all that, but I personally just can't get that angry about sports anymore (*permanent exception for Dallas teams, the Cubs, Titans, Mets, Braves, Lakers) I get excited and entertained and (insert here'ed) as hell, but not angry. Especially not with baseball, I just love watching the game and the skills being played out.

Astros are currently "suffering" from MULTIPLE trades that have not yet come to fruition.

Hope isn't lost. Just saying, as of now, there appears to have been multiple bad trades/moves.

Because, I like sports. And it doesn't ALWAYS piss me off #clutchcity

    AND

I don't really cheer for any squad outside of Houstun. It's just not natural to me.

True.... we just lose too much.

Only 2 rings in ~150 seasons of sports.

Should be "4" just based on average.

Houston is muuuuchh better than the average city.

Did I miss all the superstar performances by the guys we traded away in that deal? The Astros may not make the playoffs without Gomez's near 1.000 OPS last September. His 0.930 OPS in the playoffs wasn't bad either.

You'd think after all the stupidity last year, fans would learn not to make asinine judgements after a week.

    6 games in.

    162 games in a year.

    Not worried one bit.

Are you saying I can't be a fan if I'm an adult and not a fly-off-my-chair jackass about every single game?

Wow, are we so upset that we're questioning if Buck Turgidson is an actual Astros/Houston sports fan? This might be a new low...

But fly off your chair to name call is very adult. Listen if you're happy with Gomez then the more power to ya, I don't have to be.

Mick, chill, we're all jackasses in one way or another. And I wasn't talking about you.

And no, I mentioned my frustration with Gomez earlier today, I've counted 9 times so far this year that he has swung himself out of his ****ing batting helmet. I do not like.

If he and Springer (but esp. Gomez) could just tone it down one notch at the plate, not try to hit a 3 run HR when nobody's on base, they could be much more productive for the team.
