Yes, we do. Keep Morey and adjust other things, while delivering kicks to all of our players and coaching staffs' butts

get jb out of here, rockets improve by 1000%. get morey out of here if the team still sucks by next midseason. keep brewer, so jb can watch him from his home next season and rot on the bench

Les will probably fire Morey if he fails to sign Durant. So Morey's going to be relying on Harden again just like the last 2 regular seasons.

Morey controls all the analytics people on the Rockets. So Les will have to rely on his own eye test.

I think Morey survives but another disappointing season and he is gone. If he hires Bickerstaff full time he needs to be fired on the spot though.

Wow is right. While everyone in the organization should be seriously evaluated and scrutinized (Morey included), I don't think you fire a GM who has overseen a total rebuild without a single losing season until this one.

He brought back a WCF team and added a very good NBA player (Lawson). Anyone saying they saw THIS horror show coming is either a total contrarian or outright lying.

Morey should be given at least one more season to rebound from this mess. My concern with this team going forward is more about its basketball culture than about any particular transaction. If that doesn't improve next season, then Morey will probably be held accountable for that. But I don't see enough now to justify firing Daryl Morey.

I don't have any problem with this season's transactions, but Morey is partially responsible for the lack of basketball culture too. Most of the problems are related to the players and to the coaching staff. Morey didn't show urgency when it was becoming clear that Bickerstaff and his staff were struggling within 3 months of McHale's dismissal. If he is not able to set things in motion, before the pre-season, he should be told to leave IMO.

Whose Idea was it to fire McHale?

If it was Morey's then he has alot of responsibility for this season. He should be taken down a peg.
If it was Les then Morey can only do what the boss tells him.

Get a Coach - let them coach

I do not mind Morey sticking around for couple of years

and maybe as a mentor and advisor to an upcoming GM

Except I doubt it was Morey or Les at all. I'd bet anything it was James Harden.
