My issue with Springer is his swings. Looks like Gomez out there right now. You can't swing like that with two strikes. He needs to cut down on the long swings and become that guy who hits line drives like he did last year before getting HBP in the Royal series. Relax George.

Hinch, if you are going to sit a player, vs a right handed pitcher, do not sit a guy hitting .300 who is a lefty, or a guy that is hitting over .400 who is a lefty. Why not sit Springer or Gomez if you wanted to play Marisnick??? You already have a pitcher, a guy that hits like a pitcher hitting 7th, you are also going to sit a left handed hitter, who is hitting for the game??? Instead of sitting maybe Springer who is struggling???? And then use Valbuena to hit 4th??? A position that is too big for him as he is not good with RISP. I remember seeing Conger hitting right handed when he sucked hitting from that side, and he was good as a left handed hitter, but was not used that way. Look, i give you Hinch is GREAT communicating with the team but i don't like many of his moves with relievers or lineups, and sorry, but i said before the first pitch that i did not like the lineup for tonight, and what is happening?
