I knew we weren't going to have the best rotation in baseball, but I swear it feels 90 percent of the posters here predicted this kind of destruction.

Let's give McHugh, Fiers, and Feldman another shot before we call for their jobs....not saying we can't upgrade the rotation in the future, but they'll bounce back and give us some solid performances before then.

Yes, it sucks being 1-2, possibly 1-3, and I know the more specific pitching stats weren't exactly in McHugh's favor for having another great year, but winning 19 games, having an ERA below 4, and pitching and winning probably the biggest game of our season (to give us momentum in the Royals series), deserves more than one bad outing before we call for his head, no matter how bad of a start it was.

Man, Castro still can't buy a hit.

Bill Brown has turned into Ashby. No clue what's a pop fly and what's a homer off the bat.

Fister hasn't pitched yet, and Dallas had one pretty solid start in what should have been 7 shut out innings in 35 degree weather.

wow. Hinch is pissed. Pulled Feldman. IMO he could've gone another inning. Interesting.

How many times last year on the road we faced mediocre pitching and looked like Tom Seaver out here???? Or a lefty looking like Carlton????

Not sure I pull Feldman there. He had settled down.

I would have definitely let him go another inning or two. He looked good last inning, and it's not like our bullpen has been getting plenty of rest to start the season. Why not let Feldman try to get a feel for things before ending and preparing for his second start?

Could have used some of those runs we scored against the Yankees in those 2 losses.

Didn't think we would have trouble with this pitcher :\

I know you said "Last Year", so I'm trying to give you the benefit of the doubt that you're just talking about last year, because again, we scored 5 runs in our first game, 6 in our second, 5 in our third.

End of the world if we don't reach 5 tonight I guess.

eh...i'm aware... don't take all the comments on here too seriously. No one actually thinks this team is bad. Its just frustrating after all the hype to start out slow. We want to be on fire out of the gate! You are just hearing the collective frustration of a fan base who have been dreaming of a playoff/world series team throughout a long off-season only to have these disappointing starts.

I'm sure they will recover. I don't think all our pitchers are bad. This is just no fun.

I think the Astros are going to have another horrible road record this year again.
