both also play for fouls/whistles and put their fates in the hands of the ref instead of trying to play real basketball.

Martin was great until the league ruined his FT#s with the rule change. Harden's Euro step drives give him roughly the same foul calls Martin used to get. But Harden is younger, better in the clutch and dominates in ISO ball. (unless he dribbles of his foot)

Howard has no game outside of 5 feet. He is great defender, and rebounder..when he wants to be... but to make him the go to guy on offense is inefficient. More TOs than points IMO, and he can't make FTs. Jordan Hill wasn't the best Rocket, but he has a developed a good shot off the high pick and roll, a post game, and can catch and shoot.(He did that more in LA than here tho)

Chalk that up to another bad PF call ala PPat. But I think Harden Howard is better, just wish they could get on the same page!

Harden by himself is better than those two. But yes they were better than Howard.

All season any mention of trading Harden while his value was high, was met with people saying "do you want us to return to mediocrity like during the Martin/Scola years..."

Well... pretty much same result... and at least I liked most of the players on THOSE mediocre teams...

Rick was just amazing tbh. He taught players so well and knew how to have a system that can achieve great things.

They literally had a better season record in a tougher Western Conf. So yes, Martin&Hill> Harden&Howard

    Lee&Camby > H&H
    2010 Ariza&Hayes > H&H

The proof is in the pudding.

I actually think Kmart is better on defense than Haren.

KMart was physically limited but he used to at least try on defense. Haren doesn't give a **** about D so yes KMart was a better defender
