    +1.

alley oop's s/b the only pass d12 receives (unless he's guarded by someone who's 6'5 on occasions). and he can score some off of reb's. that's it.

Why was Beasley taken out of the Game- He was the only other Rockets creating a threat for the Mavs.. Hes mid Shot jumper was falling: He was
driving in.. Why would he not play the last 3 minutes??

Anytime you can sub out our 2nd best offensive player and a huge mismatch for the Mavericks in order to put in Brewer, you gotta do it.

You know, you have this history of blaming the head coach for everything when things go wrong. In your view, these players can do no wrong (they never do if I remember your holy crusade against JVG). Now I'm not saying that JBB is the reincarnation of Red Holzman or anything like that but he's dealing with a roster that simply doesn't work as a cohesive unit. Said roster was assembled by a guy who read too many of his press clippings but he's the teflon man of the NBA around here. To put it bluntly: this team that he's assembled does not work. No matter what JBB is or isn't, it is still up to these bozos to go out there and compete - especially with their season on the line.

Last night once AGAIN, with the game on the line, they withered under pressure. We have seen this type of performance time and time again this season. Once the Mavs' defense forced the game into a half court game, the Rockets were lost. No one could hit a shot even when getting 2nd chances off offensive rebounds. Their offense bogged down as the Mavs did all they could to force the ball out of Harden's hands and once that happened, no one could beg, borrow or steal a bucket. You (and the others here) act as if the other teams are blind and stupid - that they don't see or know how to exploit the flaws in this roster. Reality says otherwise and their record proves it.They are what their record says they are.

The Owner and The GM- have to see this and be extremely upset at him:
If the casual fan can see that Beasley was the only other mismatch out there-
Why cant JB see that.? I dont think JB can coach a High School game and be successful.. His rotations are so screwed up, that i think he even gets confused

No DMO- Really 0 Minutes (Thats just hilarious)-

Dear God, I absolutely HATE watching Brewer play but I place all blame on Morey for his being on this team. Again, I just don't know what a head coach is supposed to do with the personnel on this roster - they just don't work as a team.

    It's really hard to fathom.

Like...this dude not only has been the coach for months now, but in the most important game of the season, he plays Brewer nearly the entire 4th quarter in favor of obviously better options. The funny thing about it? That's not even the worst part.

This dude doubles down in the post game press conference and defends the decision while citing Brewer's defensive prowess, in a game where Brewer was playing obviously bad defense. At that point...I don't question your coaching. I honestly question your understanding of basketball.

Wasn't Brewer on Devin Harris? He got so many open three pointers in that 4th and it was just lucky of us that Harris sucks at shooting 3s. Anytime JJ Barea got open, it was because Brewer did not slide over to help!

Why not go to KJ for "defense"? Isn't that why JBB started KJ in the first place and how he planned to use KJ down the stretch, to guard PGs? KJ gets called for traveling a couple of time and get hanked so fast but I guess JBB doesn't notice that every time Brewer gets the ball he travels like no other, much less misses every shot he takes.

I'm still mind blown that Brewer got the ball early in a possession when Harden was making plays, sees he has Dirk on him, does this worthless crossover that does Dirk's slow ass covered up, then settled for a contest jump shot over a 7-footer that barely BARELY touched iron. Harden just scored the team's last 12 point yet Brewer feels like he needs to shoot with 14 seconds on the shot clock when he was 1-8 at that point, with none of his attempts even CLOSE!

On offense, Dirk was free to roam and trap Harden every time down. Did JBB notice that?! If Dirk/Lee are on the floor, you have to go to Beasley in that situation so the Mavs have to play honest defense on James.

The Rockets scored 15 points in the 4th quarter, Harden accounted for 12 of those points. The rest of the Rockets were 1-12 from the field, yet JBB goes with Brewer who was 1-10 instead of Beasley who was 5/9.

Also what's up with playing JET so much? He is much better served on the bench, to be honest. I still cannot believe JBB thought it was wise to put JET on Barea every time down. Dude is the PoTW and was torching us so let's put old JET there to lock him down! Brilliant, JBB!

He has enough bullets in his holster that he doesn't have to play Corey Brewer - until JBB stands up to Harden and Howard, and figures out the Brewer is a 12th man at best, he is part of the problem.

Lord knows, I think Morey is at fault for the roster mess, so it is not all on JBB, but he has been flat out TERRIBLE at managing the team and in game strategies.

As for late in the game, maybe, just MAYBE JBB could have drawn up a post play for DMo or Howard and put some cutters coming down the lane? Use Harden as a diversion.

    Nah..that would be coaching.

Because JB is terrible, he was putting him in and then subbibg him out in like two minute spurts and Beas still managed to drop 15. I wonder how well he would've played if he started

Story of the entire season, not being able to overcome the game plan of the opposing team. No one has taken responsibility for this, because of lack of urgency. This has led to a losing culture. The players, coaches and management/ ownership are all to blame for this.
