Beadles is trash but Schefter is the worst.

This morning I only heard where he wouldn't share his opinion of whether or not Hardy was telling the truth. While I don't like that answer, I could understand that he may not want to say anything that would jeopardize future interview opportunities.

Seeing what else he said is just mind blowing to me. How anyone can look at Hardy and see a sympathetic figure in any shape or form. Mike Greenberg had a similar take to me this morning. This guy is an absolute monster. Ray Rice was basically forced out of the league for his incident, and he's done a much better job owning up to it (not that he could fight the video evidence), and it is the only big negative out there about his character. People are forgiving, but they hate being lied to.

I'm not a huge NFL fan, but if my team signed him, I would not associate myself with that team unless the owner, GM, and coach were all replaced.

Can't really fault Schefter/ESPN. They are still an entertainment channel and this interview is instant ratings/hits. As far as Schefter, the guy is a t.v. analyst that makes his living from inside sources, he's not a beat reporter that needs to push for tough answers. And understand where Beadle is coming from but doubt she would have turned down an exclusive if offered first.

Funny that the interview was just a ploy by him and his to get some interest from teams, think it had the opposite effect though. Don't see how any team could justify even bringing him in for an interview at this point.

So, she beat herself up in a coked out craze?

I wonder if he considers pushing her around the same as putting a hand on her?

He could have pushed her into things and done all the damage. But, that's still physical violence. To say he didn't touch her means she must have set him up.

When most people think you are guilty and I think he was proven guilty before the case was thrown out, to come on TV now and claim how innocent you are just looks bad for him. I think that interview put the nail in the coffin in his NFL career...and it looked like it was over even before the interview.

Weird dude. Not a likable guy at all really.

Most likely not the case in this situation, but that does happen. It happened to me when I tried to leave a girlfriend once. She started screaming and punching herself, Mark Whalberg Fear style. That was a real dilly of a pickle of a relationship to get out of.
