towns is ridiculous. i'm sure he'll let me down on one of these switches and let curry get an easy 3 but he's been doing exactly what you should do as a big switched on curry. force the drive no matter what. it helps that curry's been off but he's still done a good job. that skills competition opened my eyes to just how fast he is and he's showing it again tonight.
If tonight's game showed anything, if we face the Warriors, we have to put KJ/Ariza on Curry. None of this JET, Goudelock, Brewer on Curry crap. Bev is fine, but longer athletic guys can really contain Curry. Brewer would usually fit but his low BBIQ would hurt us greatly.
If the wolves somehow get a superstar that fits in with the team in this upcoming draft they will be scary down the road. wolves vs sixers in the finals 2019??
Not to mention disciplined. Those head fakes by Curry are killer. But Towns is staying on the ground. Curry counts on those to get past the defender for his tear drop. Can't get that off over that out stretched hand of Towns. 4 point lead. Pressure bursts pipes.
Honestly, I can see why Morey is so high on Rubio. He is really a natural leader out there on the floor. Makes the right passes, always around the ball someway/somehow, brings a lot of intangibles that you want in a PG. Of course, his shooting still sucks but I can definitely see the interest.
man wolves have missed some layups in this game or and 1 type layups. up 5 with the ball and 2:21 left, minny can't ask for much more than that. hard to believe curry doesn't have at least 2 more 3's in him this game.
I suppose that pressure to win 73 games is alot. The Warriors have 2 more games again't SA I believe too. This will keep SA playing for home court with GSW faltering.
Towns or Davis is going to be a conversation in the next few years. Towns is progressing so much faster than expected.
