    Well, looks like Giles might get his pressure situation after all. If its only 1-2 run lead going into the bottom of the 8th, gonna be big. He'll have top of the lineup (at least 1-2 in the lineup)

    You have to be out of the base path, you can't block a throw. No idea why the pitcher just didn't throw the ball at his back. Automatic out.

    They always call it this way. If you don't hit the runner, you don't get the call.

    Stupid that it works that way, but it's certainly not unusual.

    agreed. But not any different from what many, many leadoff/speedy guys do on bunts and especially drag bunts. Basically never see it called
