Harden will turn Kyrie into Jason Terry.

A Irving/Harden backcourt would be the worst defensive backcourt in NBA history.

    Let's make history!

If we are going to lose anyway, at least it'll be entertaining.

Griffin and CP3 for Love and Kyrie.

That is a terrible deal for the clipper. Kyrie has a negative RPM and Love seems like a big stats on a bad team guy.

Give me Coach Thibs and good defenders at the 3-5 and I will get one one of the top 2-3 defenses in the NBA with Irving/Harden defending... There is entirely too much made of individually bad/good perimeter defenders. The reality is that the defense at 3-5 and discipline and communication make the difference...

The Bulls under Thibs ran Rose, Brooks, Robinson and Augustine heavy minutes at the 1-2 and still had an elite defense.

Perimeter defense is so highly dependent on team defense.... You look at bad defenders not getting criticism because of good team defense and execution (Curry). Look at the Grizzlies, their interior defense suffers... And suddenly all the defensive measures show Conley has taken a huge step back defensively. The reality is, Conley is the same.... The team defense is suffering around him.

So long story made too long, I am not worried about a mediocre defender next to Harden, I am worried about the consistency of defense from 3-5 and having the right coach and system.

You're half right. Harden is not a mediocre defender when switched on. He's not Ron Artest or Bruce Bowen, but he can be average to even slightly above average.

So Thibs can also get Harden to play better defense I'm sure.

The question is whether it is worth investing max salary into a player playing the PG position when we know Harden will make any PG's traditional role obsolete. And if Irving doesn't want to play with a ball dominant Lebron, why would he want to play with a ball dominant Harden? At least Lebron is a winner.

This. Why would anyone want a PG that needs the ball in his hands to be effective? That's never going to work with Harden on the team, and that's not saying anything against Harden.

Thay'sexactly how it looks like. Kyrie simply doesn't seem to care at all what Bron has to say and I can understand it. Why should he?

The very end of the clip it looks like he's rolling his eyes and smirking saying "whatever". He's over Lebron.
