The fact that this team was predicted to finish top 3 in the conference and is praying for an outside shot at #6 should be telling us something. For the first time in Rockets history, it aint because of injuries.
No, it's because the panic button was ridiculously pushed in a bipolar stress moment far too early in the season with the firing of McHale.

this is so true. and even worse, they didn't have a plan. While i agree the change was premature, i think the greatest failure was not having a plan. JB is not a plan.
I honestly don't know what to make of that statement. I grew up in Houston, but have spent a lot of time in other states and countries. I consider this home.
what? this time its for real? I KNEW IT! I ****IN KNEW IT! i said rockets will be the champs before the season started and absolutely NOTHING has changed since then. shizz gon get ucked up for the golden state arriors. why no w? cuz they aint winnin no rings when the rockets are in this b****. BREWER! SHOW ANDRE IGUODALA WHAT A REAL 6TH MAN OF THE YEAR CANDIDATE LOOKS LIKE!
Exactly, espcially when KD, and Westbrook turn up the level intensity.. I am not looking forward to that match up at all. And even if you get passed it,(Would be a miracle) you get the spurs coming in the 2nd round, and thats going to be a 4-1 trounce, we would be lucky to get 1 win.
Yeah, what a bizarre way to start the year, with a Conspiracy Theory following that sudden firing of the coach who took us to the finals, followed by a year of musical chairs and rotations that made you say things out loud to the TV you probably wouldn't say in public. Makes you appreciate the possibilities that much more.
Yes, JB is a plan. That plan is, "We're still paying McHale more than $11,000,000 over three years to sit on his ass, which we should have done for free. I'm going to tell the cameras that money is no object to Mr. Alexander, but we sure the hell won't pay for a real coach this year (Thibodeau told me he's sitting out the season anyway), so let's give the job to JB and hope for the best." You can narrow all that down. The plan is called Pure Bulls***.
I have always been a Rockets fan, and am no bandwagon fan. I could never want my team to lose for a draft pick. I never did it with the Texans either. I will never look back and wish we had lost early, just for a draft pick. I also am not that fan who leaves a game before it is over when my team is losing, or changes the channel when my team is losing. It's just not in my nature. People who do any of those things miss out on what it feels like to come from behind, with what seemed like no chance of winning, and give you something to scream about! (In a good way)
I'll take missing the playoffs, the 7th seed, or the 6th seed. There are small chances something good could happen from one of those positions. But uhhmm please don't make me watch the rockets play the warriors in the first round and lose that pick. It won't be pretty
It's not a question of losing for a draft pick. We've already lost...39 times to be exact. At this point, it's question of losing and losing a draft pick too. That's where we are at if we we eek into the playoffs. We're gonna lose and we're gonna lose our pick.
