A brilliant 90 minute setup to the most iconic moment in the series, and they completely **** the bed. Unbelievable.
Next season will open with a time lapse where the entire episode is built around revealing who is dead. Hopefully we find out by the mid season finale
My guess is Michonne. The actor that plays Negan - kinda horrible IMO. Thinking Rick gonna **** him up good sooner or later for killing one of his. Who did Morgan find on the horses lol? Seemed like a Walking Dead version of LOTR elves.
They're probably going to wait for fan reaction and pick the one that people complain about least... They're already off from comic vs show again (well always off, but now probably more again). Oh well, I mean it's not a bad thing (sometimes), but it can definitely detract from how much more the comic doesn't give a **** who dies.
this show has no shame, glad I didn't watch the episode. They really do take advantage of the fans and people that watch.
What a monumental disappointment of an episode. Though I should expect nothing less from a season finale cause they're all usually underwhelming. An hour and a half to literally drive in circles. And I feel whoever does die, when they finally show it, it'll lose a lot of impact. Either do it or don't, but stop stretching this crap out.
I'd say odds are very much against them having a female character pummeled to death with a baseball bat. Its pretty much anybody but Carl, Rick, and the women.
Oh this is absolutely how they will play it. Even worse, they will likely not show the actual scene. Just a cutaway of a corpse or some crap. At this point I expect the worst out of the producers.
This whole episode was annoying AF. Haven't complained much about this show despite the producers/writers providing plenty of material to complain about but...c'mon.
Lame. That rv was like the damn farm. Almost an entire episode of them driving forward and reversing... This show... So blah. I love zombie apocalypse setting... But damn. Not sure I'll watch next season. 6 seasons might be enough for me... If I don't, then I'll catch it on Netflix where I can go through it faster... I wonder how long they'll make fans wait next season to see what happened in that scene... The guy who plays Daryl has another show on AMC... Perhaps it was him?
I thought it was good. I don't understand why they didn't show who died though. So much buildup and then that's it after an hour and half. Blah
One of the Talking Dead guests said there are some hints as to who was hit. The host said he was trying to figure out the angle of the victim since it was first person. The guest said he knew we were going to do that, so they made it hazy. The guest went on to say there are clues as to who it was. Anyone pick up on any of those clues?
So far only that Negan said (paraphrasing) "if any of them move, take the kid's good eye and shove it in his dad's mouth".. meaning neither Carl nor Rick were involved in the beating. I agree with the above poster that they wouldn't beat a woman with a nailed bat. I'm going with Abraham given that he was talking up the future with Sasha and all. That's never a good idea. As for the episode itself, I thought it was good/fine. I liked the 2nd half of this season. I want to know who died, but I did like the guy's explanation after the show. This season's "story" was that the group had all this confidence about who they were and what they could do...and here at the end, they had it all taken away. They are nobodies. And that was punctuated by someone in their group getting killed...from that perspective, it's almost irrelevant who died. Next season is about the specifics of who died and how they move forward. I don't know. I got past it pretty quickly.
Found this randomly in the comments section of ign's preview review of the episode. Semi-spoiler if you don't wanna know who got hit Spoiler http://carl-greyems.tumblr.com/private/142035415291/tumblr_o4xdeaiypi1v88mdc
