Or at least look at the box score to see that Dekker was the most productive player in terms of +/-. He was efficient in college and is still efficient.
Both our draft picks look like they have the potential to be good role players, especially Harrell since he's been quite a bit more healthy and we have seen his game.
Thought Asik was worth too much to entertain the offers at the time....trade for NO pick and get Decker. No more excuses for Morey.
He set solid screens and gobbles more rebounds than Dwight these days and costs way less. Also he was a better foul shooter.
So what can Dekker bring that we lack now? Who would he replace on the court? Is he someone to get excited about? Who does he compare to that we have now? Can he make free throws?
we ****ing gave up Asik for him. I love how Brandon Bass and Courtney Lee weren't good enough when we were fighting for a top playoff spot but this was. Christ, I don't think I've seen somebody draft as bad as Morey.
I complained a lot about how little we got for Asik at the time. Still, have to note Asik is only playing 17 MPG on a bad team now. He is just really, really bad on offense.
