You think we would be talking about trumps respectability if he wasn't running for president?

All topics on this thread is about trump running for president. And you're a moron to even think that Soros have anything to do with it.

Anderson cooper is correct. Trump and his supporters do have the collective iq of a five year old

Please don't get upset with other individuals about your inability to understand the subject matter. Thanks.

No, it is about the respect of the United States.

You think other nations 'respect' the US because of presidential rhetoric?

    bad bad week for trump..

He's even out there in full force apologizing, which makes his mongrels looks even dumber for defending him.

The irony is that Cruz is more conservative than Trump, and yet I'd rather see Cruz win the nomination than Trump - not because I think either will win, but because I loathe to see Trump perform his antics on an even bigger stage.

I would not vote for someone that uncivilized no matter what their platform or party was. The POTUS must be a person who can at least be someone who acts like a statesmen even if we don't like their policy.

I'm not old enough to remember Reagan's election (I was 5), but that's not how I remember Obama's election. I remember widespread international support for Obama's election and fawning attitudes about how much better the USA would be with Obama after Bush Jr. Obama came in enjoying a lot of international respect and goodwill.

I recall a lot of jokes for Reagan, the Hollywood actor, as a candidate, BUT he'd been governor of California, so the jokes were not a major thing at all. Kind of like "peanut farmer" always followed Carter.

Internationally, people were a little more worried about a hawkish tone from Reagan than any buffoonery.

Most of the talk about Obama happened after he was president and kept getting slapped around by Putin and signing bad deals with Iran and things of the like. He was pretty much given a pass on just about everything when he ran the first time.

He's never had an international respect problem. He's had a problem getting respect from American conservatives.

I love how Putin 'slapped' around Obama yet it's his country going down the ****ter economically.

    Putin sure showed Obama.

I know that some people are of that opinion, but honestly he has that "international respect problem" currently. He's viewed as a very weak leader by other leaders and it's pretty obvious.

That said, he's the greatest leader ever when compared to a potential Trump presidency.
