i went to the kendrick concert it was one of the livest things i've ever been a part of and it was my birthday!! oh...and my God, Houston has so many beautiful women...
even if you get shut out, isn't it still easy to listen to the music part? how early did you have to go to get inside?
Sorry to throw a damper on the party, but did they sound this terrible in person? I actually like Twenty One Pilots, so I'm just wondering.
From what I understand, on Saturday they hit capacity, closed the gates, and then would re-open after a few people left. This happened like 3 times, but was a mistake. Sunday they closed the gates at like 4 (or earlier? that's when i realized they were closed), and the line was multiple blocks at each entrance. This was before Flo Rida even got started. Additionally, I'm pretty sure they let in a lot less people this time. And then, on top of that, they never re-opened the gates. So you just had a constant stream of people leaving and no one coming in. They had an incredible lineup, but they should've used a bigger venue. There were tens of thousands of people who didn't get in. Or have performances across two venues, have some stuff at the Bayou maybe.
I went as well. Kendrick's set was insane! The concrete below me was bending from how hard everyone was going! And so many hot chicks! 10/10 concert!
i tried to go, what a cluster**** that was! i got there around 3:45 and it was already a mess. you would walk towards the entrance and then the line kept stretching further and further. To the point where it broke off into multiple lines so I didn't even know where the lines start/end. i ended up at phoencia/mrkt bar, as I watched people figure out where to lineup. smoking hot broads all over the place though.
The weekend seemed to go well and the final game was great. I think we had the 2nd most in attendance for both days. Think we get another Final Four anytime soon?
