What sucks most is that I'm now reading Trump quotes - even fakes ones - with his voice in my head. I've heard way too much of him.
"Let me tell you something. If I owned the Rockets... just forget about it. It would blow your mind. You remember the twin towers. Right? Hakeel and what's his name? That didn't pan out. So I would bring us five towers. They would be the best towers. Five players, all as good as Hakeesh, okay? But not muslim this time. (smiles, crowd roars). This team would not need a bench -- I wouldn't waste money on players that don't play, right? And this team wouldn't even need a ball -- that's how great they're going to be. And they would walk out there and the other teams would know we mean business, okay? They would know the Rockets are back and they would just bow down and give up, hand over the trophy and save themselves trouble."
I know I'm excited to buy tickets, bob!!!! I suppose Clinton is Morey -- slow and steady, past her prime? And Bernie? Spoiler
This is awesome. You don't repeat yourself enough which is the giveaway that it isn't real, but awesome none the less.
This is gold. But seriously...we need some of this on our team...if we could vote for owners I'd probably campaign for someone like this
Wait...I thought Obama's campaign was "yes we can!". I thought Trump's campaign is "I would be a great president!". Hey...if you say so!
Get in here RocketsLegend you got some splainin' to do! Trump says he'd allow 'rich Muslims' to enter U.S. funny that he would have openly admitted Bin Laden into the country since he was a multi-millionaire right? This dude inherited daddy's money and doesn't give a **** about the poor, yet by selling his "working class whites have been oppressed" card they allowed themselves to be duped.
"We're losing in defense, we're losing in hustle, when I'm in charge we're going to win. Rockets fans are going to be so tired of winning. We're gonna build a team, a great team, the best team you've ever seen. And Mark Cuban is going to pay for it."
Trump uniting our allies in disbelief. lol Japan and South Korea hit back at Trump's nuclear comments http://www.cnn.com/2016/03/31/politics/trump-view-from-south-korea-japan/index.html Seoul (CNN)Confused, shocked, bewildered. Just a few of the words used in recent days to describe Japan and South Korea's reaction to some of Donald Trump's latest comments about the region. The front-runner for the Republican presidential nomination stunned two of America's strongest allies with the suggestion that the U.S. military would be withdrawn from their shores, with nuclear weapons replacing them. There are currently 54,000 U.S. troops stationed in Japan and 28,500 in South Korea. "Japan is better if it protects itself against this maniac of North Korea," Trump told CNN's Anderson Cooper Tuesday. "We are better off frankly if South Korea is going to start protecting itself ... they have to protect themselves or they have to pay us." So high was the level of concern, Japan's Prime Minister Shinzo Abe felt the need to respond publicly, saying, "whoever will become the next president of the United States, the Japan-U.S. alliance is the cornerstone of Japan's diplomacy." Japan remains the only country to have had nuclear weapons used against it and has had a non-nuclear policy and pacifist constitution since the end of World War II. Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida added, "It is impossible that Japan will arm itself with nuclear weapons." South Korea has a small minority who think Trump may have a point and welcome the idea of nuclear weapons. Academic Cheong Seong-Chang from the non-profit think-tank the Sejong Institute said, "If we have nuclear weapons, we'll be in a much better position to deal with North Korea." But his feeling is not mainstream. South Korea 'a money machine' Government reaction has been more focused on Trump's assertion that South Korea is not paying its way. Trump told CNN's Wolf Blitzer earlier this year, "South Korea is a money machine but they pay us peanuts ... South Korea should pay us very substantially for protecting them." Howls of inaccuracy came from the South Korean Foreign Ministry, the U.S. ambassador to South Korea, and even the White House. Ambassador Mark Lippert said Seoul pays for 55% of all non-personnel costs. And former U.S. Ambassador to South Korea Christopher Hill was more succinct. He told CNN, "I don't know what he's talking about but clearly neither does he." Newspaper editorials and experts alike have taken aim at Trump's comments about introducing more nuclear weapons to the Korean peninsula to counter the North Korean threat. Daniel Pinkston of Troy University said it would play into North Korea's hands. "The hardliners in Pyongyang would just love such an outcome because if that were to occur, it would completely justify their nuclear status ... and validate Kim Jong Un's policy line as absolutely brilliant and absolutely correct," he said. Reflecting a growing concern, Pinkston added, "Whether he wins the Republican nomination or not, or whether he is elected president or not, even at this stage, he is already doing damage to the U.S. reputation internationally. And damaging U.S. security interests."
We've had 85,000 troops there for 50 years. That probably costs our taxpayers $ 10 Billion+ dollars a year in personnel costs plus military costs net of any payments they cover. Plus we have troops in Bahrain, Saudi and all these wealthy countries for free just because we're America. I AGREE WITH TRUMP. We're taken advantage of by the world because they know whether its a politician, a foreign government or a corporation, the US government is up for sale by lobbyists. OUT WITH THE LOBBYISTS and fighting other people's wars.
The Democrat Version of Bernie/Hillary: Let me tell you something. If I owned the Rockets....everyone would get their fair share of wins. No player would ever get sent to the developmental league. And we should not deny anyone the right to play basketball. The league is dominated by african american men...we need diversity. The only reason asian's and females aren't represented well in the league is because they haven't been given the historic chance to play basketball. And its not fair that the better players can jump higher, shoot better and make more money. They system is broken, the all-star caliber players need to play with weight belts on and each bucket is only worth half a point and the rest of the points are distributed by the league in a way that only they can do so.
