    I'm pretty sure it's passé to hate on guys like Bieber and Malik now.

    Not everything has to be Fleet Foxes and My Morning Jacket; or for that matter, Bruce Springsteen or Chuck Ragan; or Pearl Jam; or M83 or Tame Impala. AND SO ON AND SO ON.

    It's time to acknowledge that the teeny boppers listed above have actually started putting out pretty good (if nothing else, very catchy) music.

    Big fan of One D and Malik was miles better than the others, but this song was not good. Expected more from Zayn.

    I disagree completely. I'm not one who is easily impressed by production techniques. I enjoy listening to music however there is relatively not of that here. Just my 2 cents

    We can't all be middle aged men living in the past doe. Some of us are <30. As sad as it is, the world kept moving on after 1999.

    It's time to get with the times. You know what I mean cuz?

    On a related note, how many of you who don't like albums such as these have an affinity towards "808's and heartbeats" as an album? Because if so, what's the difference exactly?

    R&B was better when it was real like R Kelly.

    All of this new stuff is produced. Simon Cowell is getting so rich.

    Obviously marketed toward the teen girls. His voice is good , i'm sure the girls would dig it.

    I wasn't entirely sure if Zayn Malik was the male or female shown on the still of your first video. I wasn't pretending to be unaware.

    My only connection to pop culture was The Soup on E. Now that it's cancelled I'm out of it.

    Also I've never thought catchy = good. Herpes are catchy.
