There's no hoping Harden makes its. Harden is automatically starting.

they could easily go with a westbrook/curry backcourt. its not as automatic as the last go around, especially with the improvement of so many other players

I'd take Lillard over Irving and Wall.

Nobody's paying attention but Lillard is 3rd in 3PM, and 5th in PPG, over Westbrook, Lebron, Anthony Davis and Paul George. Oh and his team is going to finish 5th in the West.

How this guy doesn't get respect in the league is baffling.

While in a vacuum people might prefer Lillard over Wall, but if you think about this team, you probably don't need any more scorers.

What you probably want behind Curry and WB is defense and passing, which Wall to me is clearly better at.

You throw wall in there and you have top tier defensive players everywhere but shooting guard, and even in a perfect world, you drop Melo and try to get Butler or Paul George on this team.

i think we should always try to have as few people who can't shoot on the team as possible. i realize he wouldn't be in at the big moments, but john wall's jumper is too mediocre to rely on in big games.

same reason why none of the bad free throw shooting big men should be on the team. their strengths don't translate particularly well to international ball and their horrible free throws would be a great way to slow down a team USA offense that is usually overwhelming.

while we need defense, if i'm picking between lillard and wall i want the overwhelming offense player who doesn't allow a weak spot to exploit in our high scoring offense more than the extra defense from wall.

If they're pulling out with no health concerns, they shouldn't be invited back.

who cares? USA can probably win the gold with a team like

    Kirk Hinrich
    Jamal Crawford
    Nick Young
    Marvin Williams
    Elton Brand

Your kidding right harden only led the rockets to back to back 54 and 56 win seasons. Was 1st team all NBA in both.

His worst year at 41-41 Still made the playoffs which Martin never did.

That shows how little you know about the history of international basketball.

US couldn't win with a team consists of L. James, C. Anthony, etc, in the first couple of years. It takes the team effort to win.

On one hand, do not want to see Green. Bad representative for the USA. On the other, maybe USA BB Olympic coaches can teach him some human values.
