Straight Talk has a way better deal for Verizon service than Verizon prepaid. I think they had (or might still have) a special for $55 for 10GB of data. Even PagePlus has better deals than Verizon Prepaid. And neither of those throttle your high speed data pool like Cricket does.

i agree. may switch to vzw tomorrow.

i've heard the exact opposite when it comes to pageplus. probably throttle more aggressively also. will read around later.

and can those who use those mvnos be assured that they are subjected to "network management"? not with voice, but data? surely att and vzw won't sacrifice network congestion for the sake of others. those who live around downtown, stadiums/arenas,... galveston in the summer months? when these areas are experience congestion, who will get priority?

huge chunks of data aren't as important for me personally when maps are downloadable, high storage phones are available for music/data storage, and att wifi/comcast wifi hotspots are readily available. speed and data when i need it are. have yet to reach my 5gb limit.

It looks like you're right. I guess the Verizon MVNOs are throttled now. That makes sense as Verizon has never really cared for the MVNO market.
