Rafer was the greatest PG in Rocket's history

Rockets fans might also remember missing the playoffs the three seasons before Lin joined the team. Dragic and Lowry just couldn't get them there. Then Lin joins the team, and together with Harden, they play a great brand of basketball and make it to the playoffs. It was great...

Rafer was good....7 year vet joining the team. And all he had to do was dump the ball to Yao and shoot 3s (which he wasn't all that great at). But alas, he never helped the Rockets get out of the first round, either.

Ty Lawson is the worst PG in Rocket's history

Ty Lawson = WCF to 1st round knock out to GSW

    Rafer = 22 Wins

Tinsatan says lin played like an ass in the playoffs. If you are a real rocket fan you would remember game 5 of the playoff against the blazers, where lin bounced back to help the rockets win with 21 pts. You are definitely the real ******* here in clutch. You call yourself a rocket fan, but you are only an embarrassment for all rocket fans.

Jeremy has also had 8 three pointers in a game.

In fact - he's actually done one better.

Pretty easy to cherry pick highlight vids.

He didn't lose a series for the Rockets like Lin

on top of that, Rafer didn't get demoted for patrick beverly or demoted in LA.

Oh Rafer's stats got better once Rick Adelman got hired .

    Lin sucked big time.

He probably invented those straws when you order those fruity drinks.

Adelman and Van Gundy made much better decisions than McHale...

Didn't know about this site until the last few years. And spent most of my time on NJ Nets forums back then (actually just participated on the comments section of NJ.com articles. Similarly, before I found this site, I spent most of my time just commenting on Chron.com articles when Lin was on the team).

they actually were better, even though we knew they didn't watch any of the games.

they didn't have any issues with who they were. like your pal colt45nyc who keeps lying all the time

they didn't drop the race card when they ran out of stuff to say

    YOF:Yao good
    LOF: Lin good, everyone racists

The Rockets treated Yao great. The organization made a big investment in him...brought in coaches that were willing to make Yao the centerpiece of the team, brought in assistants and former players like Patrick Ewing and Hakeem to work with him. Teammates like Stevie Franchise and McGrady treated Yao with respect. And even though Yao only helped the team get past the first round of the playoffs once, the fast majority of Rockets fans never pointed fingers at him or any BS like that.

Lin had none of that. The team had just gone through pissing off a couple of talented PGs in Lowry and Dragic and had a head coach in McHale who had no history of working well with good PGs, and whose best days of coaching involved clapping harder. They had a GM in Morey who didn't even want to sign Lin but was forced to because the owner wanted him, then signed Harden to a max contract whom they had to know was a bad fit with Lin.

So yes, you can say that Yao fans were "better" than Lin fans, but Yao fans really had nothing to complain about. Lin fans are generally happy right now because Lin is being treated fairly in Charlotte. Sure, there are extremists, but nobody listens to them.

The Rockets treated Jeremy Lin with 30 million dollars

I hope I get treated that badly

All LOFs are extremists. No Rockets fans join other sites because they fear others will say not so happy things about them.
